No doubt, placebo effect...

And the placebo effect works well when it works! :whistling:

On one of the other threads on this topic, I posted a link to a report about placebos working for people even though they know they're duds.

"Placebo" comes in all forms. Just look how much "better" you ride after you've replaced something on your bike. Just the other day I replaced my stem cap and I felt 10% stronger on climbs.

I wonder how much the placebo effect works on reviewers when reviewing some new product. Especially when reviewing a product by somebody that advertises on their site or publication.

Ja I must say I haven't felt much difference with my power balance band, then again I bought the cheap version, paid R150.00 for it so maybe that's why

Jeez, you guys are a bunch of sour grapes. During the course of the holiday I saw irrefutable, indisputable, concrete evidence that the Power Balance bangle actually works. Please refer the picture below - shot on location at 34 Degrees South in Knysna. Look how well balanced and composed the athlete looks.

My 13 year old nephew a couch potato of note purchased a pbb for R200 at a shopping center with cash that he had saved. What makes matters worst is that early that day we went to a

store that sell cheap Chinese goods and they were selling them for R8.00 but were sold out. The kid just needed to have one and I told him the bands are k@k.

Seems to me it has become a fashion statement and below is proof of this.
