I had a mini cooper s, that was keyed down every single panel...I caught the guy on camera and made him pay for the repair work..

I took it to BMW panel shop and the spray work was better than the original paint, it was perfectly smooth again and there were no stone chips in the front or even a bug splatter residue. I always knew it had been repaired but it was better than before. I sold it for market value and the owner was more than happy.

Sometimes things are actually worth it, even when they are repaired.

There is a big difference between spray work on a car and a bent chassis.

We have 2 repaired MTB frames in the 'arsenal'. One on the rear stay and one on the top tube.

I am not a small dude as per the name (BEEG S!) and I ride the one with the repaired stay (for nearly 2 years now) no worries. The top tube one my laaitie rides he is a lightweight but rides somewhat more 'aggressively' and less frequent :o

I guess it depends on the 'repairer' then?

So do you guys think it's worth trying to repair a broken carbon MTB frame that was crushed? It's so bad that it actually flexes a lot by hand.

I've just replaced the frame and so would anyone be willing to buy an unrepaired 2010 Epic frame????
