My friend can buy the following for R 25K, is it a good deal or are there better deals out there? Spes Epic S Works, Carbon frame, DT Swiss 1540 wheels, 240 hubs. Manitau MRD R7 shock. I personally dont want to own a manitau. When last were the shocks and pivots serviced and or replaced. Edited January 13, 2011 by covie

When the Manitou 2 (purple, baby) came out in '92, *everyone* wanted one!

Jis GrootH, ja jong ek leef nog. Trap nog die fiets so tussendeur die werk en ander verpligtinge. Die nuwe hub interface en nuwe mense maak my net bietjie deurmekaar. Guy bought it for his wife hoping that she will take up the sport, but I know it hasnt been ridden once in the last year. Bike is at lbs to be checked out for and problems. But at the moment one of the biggest selling points is that is colours is the same as current road bike and helmet..... Thnx for info.

Danger Dassie Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Nothing wrong with Manitou, I've ridden several over the years. When the Manitou 2 (purple, baby) came out in '92, *everyone* wanted one! Hell yeah! Then they also had the Manitou bike with duplication of the for for the rear suspension.
