You knoW guys, Its not negative stuff,

Here we have the CSA, they arrange a Meeting in Durban to discuss important stuff about cycling, how to fix things, how to handle the pressure from the cyclists, the way forward etc.

AND:

I heard that the TRACK COMM. could not make it as well, because he could'nt find someone to run his shop.

So, we have one guy who cant make it and 2 who left early to watch rugby back in CPT.

Is this negative ? of do these thingS to be kept behind locked doors.

The standard argument of those involved is "why don't you get involved" when they don't have an answer to mostly constructive criticism. Not everybody is able to. If you know what goes on on the inside, how decisions are made, and if you have concerns for the future of cycling as I do, then the forum is an ideal place to air your views. I agree not all are constructive or intelligent. But those at CSA are free to read our views as well. Joker read some more threads concerning CSA and learn.

Joker, a lot of us has excellent ideas, but we can't give it because we're not members of clubs (and I'm not goign to pay R1000 to give ideas).

As for being to weak to make a contribution... Hmmm, in Afrikaans there is a saying "'n donkie stamp sy kop net een keer".  So I might not be intelligent, BUT, I've experienced what the CSA does, i.e. take money and have a jolly time and do NOTHING for us ordinary, back-of-the-pack cyclists.  Why should I not moan?

Joker tell us what you have done for cycling lately seeing that we are negative in your opinion. Many a hubber has done positive thing for cycling' date=' show s you have no idea what is happening around you. ShaunH(signs and donating goods to PDI's - Pantani helping less fortunate cyclists Slowpoke donating clothing to cyclists) these are but just some, there are many more I can mention Don't forget our COO and his fight for us cyclist. Come prove your worth.[/quote']

I have been reading this thread.

I have been polite to motor vehicles

I have been polite to Taxi's Greeting them with a smile

When I cycle in  a bunch I keep to the left of the road and obey road rules

I have been greeting fellow cyclist

I have joined a club

I have contacted my local counseller to discuss the deterioration safety of Hendrik Potgieter for cyclist

And I have not spread any rumors -

I have hurt fellow cyclist on hill climbs LOL
