Have far with a set of tyres?

Hi Hubbers,

 

I've got a set of Gatorskins, how far can i expect them to last under normal road conditions before they have to be replaced? I don't use them for racing, just training, so when is enough enough?

 

Any signs that i should look for to indicate its time for them to be replaced?

I don't see the difference between racing and training kilometers. I would say anything from about 6000-9000 km.

It depends on what you weigh, what pressure you ride them at, the conditions of the roads and the amount of debris you ride over.

I get about 6000km from a set before I start seeing the lines of my finger print through the casing when checking for glass etc.
