Hi MattyG,

We have RST M29er suspension forks in stock. They were twentynineinches.com's product of the year a few years back. R2265

And who says you can't ride singletrack on a rigid fork?

There is an excellent article in a recent MTBUK Mag that does a test on 4 or 5 HT 29ers

They test the On One Scandel with the rigid fork and the Niner with its rigid fork.

The on One got a good review apart from the weight. The Niner blew them away.Funny enough it was a KHS with a suspension fork that won the day

you cant go wrong with the RST, yes its just over 2kg but besides the top of the range stuff from RS and FOX, all the mid-level forks are weighing that these days.....

Hi Kranswurm,

If you look at the specs page in the results of that test the Scandal was lighter than the Niner and cheaper. The Scandal was also What Mountain Bikes HT 29er of the year. The Fork that the KHS was using is the RST M29er in the post above.

A question

Are 29ers aimed at cross country only.I see only 100mm forks.

Are there beefier forks and designs more for trails and AM or is that not an option

Hi Kranswurm,

You can get 120mm, 140mm travel Reba RLT's with 20mm through axels, tapered steerers etc There are also 29er DH forks from Manitou (Dorado) White Bros etc.

I agree. I have one on my 29er and so far no complaints.
