You can go tubeless with normal rims and normal tyres.

Slime™ and Sludge™ are the names of registered products and you pay for the name. Are you sure that Kenda tubes actually use Slime™ in their tubes? Just buy CST tubes pre-filled with sealant. Been riding them for 3 years without any problems. I had Joe's tubes that were filled with their mutie but they were terrible.

 

Notice the OP said 'slime', which to most of us denotes a slimy snot like substance in the tube. Stop being silly about all this naming thing.

+1 Works like a bomb. Have got non-UST, non-"tubeless" tyres and rims. Used Stan's conversion kit and I think it's one of the best "upgrades" I've ever done.

 

Smile pityingly next time you ride past someone patching an inner tube next to the road/jeep-track/singletrack. Do offer your help though.
