Yes he did very well, went earlier with Cancellera, even did some pulls!

From Cyclenews

"Runner-up Sagan wasted some energy in a breakaway attempt together with Fabian Cancellara (Radioshack-Nissan-Trek) at 25km from the finish in Wevelgem but they were caught back by a large group led by the Omega Pharma-QuickStep troops"

He admits that those pulls and marking Cancellara took a lot of the strength he needed to eclipse Boonen.

Boonen had good team support.

Yes Boonen was the best of the day, and a well deserved win. He seems well liked, gave a long interview in the Sporza studio afterwards.

Daniel Oss was also up there, but the rest of the L-C troops don't seem to feature, or am I missing something (?)

Sagan is in another class. Been up there all season so far. But at the same time still has a lot to learn it seems. Well he is only 22.

LC was a a bit lean.

Nibs, Basso and Co are on the Canary Islands or somewhere - high-altitude training camp.

Preparing for Grand Tour stuff.

Sagan was team captain yesterday.

Him and Oss are in charge of representing well in the one day Classics.

Next one is Tour of Flanders - I don't think young Peter is doing the P-R this year, so we wont see him going head-to-head with the Fabian in the classic of all Classics.

L G team manager discloses that Sagan will not be racing to win Flanders, but to gain experience and learn.

Cool!

Boonen did add earlier in the week that he is not sure why "one of the big talents around" Sagan is in this team as he has no 'Classics mentor'.
