  1. So buffelsdrift tea park posted on Facebook. That they will be closing down. Such sad news this is. It is a very nice trail to go out to
  2. Goes actually good with the green. It fits
  3. Skoonma soek haar besem
  4. Like the pedals
  5. Put the money towards a coach them you get proper stats.
  6. Gate not garage
  7. What amps you pulling a correct door should weigh no more than 10 kilos. Then it's heavy. 5 is ideal. The heavier the door the more stain on motor. The motor should open without the batteries. If not charger faulty To test if the battery of charger causes fault disconnect batteries and test again.
  8. Problem with load shedding is the time between charges are to short. You can do this if you convert the setup to connect a lithium victron charger to the lithiums. And use them disconnecting the main charger
  9. Will they fit on normal bike thar uses disk brakes. I have job for them if so. And if you still have
  10. He does know bikes. And if you want a decent custom or rebuilt. Talk to him he's got a nice redone Merida also. It's looks brand new
  11. I just want to tank @RobertWhitehead for the help.
  12. I love raw foods especially the fructose type problem is they exit with a bang. So ja keeps the weight off
  13. And remember even if they can pull brakes downhill is not the best idea. Because alot of new things to learn so maybe go slow on flats till peddling is stable then do brakes and then etc
  14. Mine was around 4. The brakes aren't so much the problem as the learning to pedal. It take alot of patience to tech them to push left then right. And not back pedal they back pedal easy
  15. You're time shows me I can do the amashova under 5 hrs on an mtb.
  16. What was import cost
  17. This will be great. Because any trade should Have apprentice option for 4 years.
  18. Some reason my message got mixed inside the quoted stuff. I will definitely take it slow the. I will ontk do one stage berg and bush first of all goes well will look at others
  19. As long as the bike is ok
  20. Funny enough Facebook showed me a 'n add for this. I think it's a fair price. To become an electrician cost about 50k total in school. And I would assume bike mechs get 15-20k per month salary.
  21. I do agree with certification but is should not be your focus. Because Qualifications mean squat if you can't do the job. I had an employee who has n4 electrical but can't even wire a light or plug properly. I know of/ hearof bike mechs that mess up the bike due to lack of skill. You need to get the skill. I'm not sure if bikeshops do apprenticeships. But that's how you learn not via the theory. There is a thing called RPL in SA. It's for the guys like me with skill and no papers to get papers, 100 years amd 2000 years ago they built tempels and churches that still stand and no one had papers then.
  22. Funny enough I don't eat during training. But always during race specifically due to the little stops. And oros hasbeen my govto fuel for alot of trailseeker races in the past. But this time round I'm getting a coach already spoke to someone that will work out a plan. I'm doing the shova, my first long distance race. And if funds look good I will do the berg&bush. But goo point about the reserve. Because yes I normally race till my legs give out on race. Just the type of person I am( very competitive) I will also start looking for a riding buddy. I'm trying to make a mini club where I stay because town is far
  23. I fully agree with this. I employ skill not what the paper says you can do.
  24. YES. Because people want the cheapest fix they can get.
  25. YES and me as sparky needs to issue COC for all I'm doing even just changing a plug. But the the industry is such a mess. That it's scary. But things are changing but will take time.
