How can they have %, VA, VB, VM and A start together with one minute gap to B group. Can't be right????

I did the gravel section this morning and it's crap. Lots of sandy and rocky sections. Hope it will be fixed by Saturday.

It's about 04:10/km. Not doing the Peninsula. Doing all the PPA Funrides before the Argus this year. Also dit the TO 56km in 2012. And did my first Comrades last year.

I'm doing the 21km again and will aim for 88 minutes again. Better start doing speed work.

Can't be worst than last year. Will definitely be better, new route and new venue.

The wind was hectic last year. Started in A-C. There were times when we did 17km/h on a straight road into the wind.

Can you please be on the lookout for this bike that was stolen in Yzerfontein. This is my dad's neighbour's bike. They were fast asleep on the upper floor while the skollies broke in on the ground floor at about 4am and helped themselves.

I'll be using the shuttle for the first time this year. Use the Orbit Transport one as per K2C website. The first one leaves at 04:00. Takes about 1 and a half hours.

I'm doing my first Challenge on the 12th of Jan, starting in Gordonsbay. Doing the Terra Firma (4 legs). They say that you need at least two vehicles to assist you in the transitions. Won't one vehicle help. Plan is that my wife drive to all the transitions to meet me there. Another question, is it better to run the beach run with shoes or barefeet?

Who else did this race and how did it go? I did it and enjoyed it very much. The weather didn't look to good on my way to the race, but it held out nicely. Did rain a little bit on the bike course, but not too much. The run was flat through the vineyards and the bike course was not too technical. Would be nice if we can get more of these types events in the WCape area.
