Oh dear sunblock.First of all, everyone doesn't get paid as officials. So it is not there job, 2nd most of them actually do work and help cycling as a part time thing. They do it for the fun and to promote sport, not nail everyone they can. Like butafly said there is a system to go thru. First sort out the stuff with your problems with old club and the people involved and the free state province. Its very easy to do!!! If you would have done it like this in the first place and clear out the whole issue, then maybe you would have been part of the SA champs!!!

Well the very small amount i know John from is he is fairly organised and knows what he want. You know what he wants from you if your part of the team and what you get from him. Compare to other managers is he one of top of my list. Most managers i've come across is barely organised, nothing is planned and the riders is taken for a ride with 100's of promises.

If everyone is moaning now and hate him so much, why didn't choose someone else before hand. If SA can't get there stuff right to organise it better and give the riders a better chance, would you expect any better results. Who is there else any way. Maybe you are one of them!! Nice and easy to say your previous club messed up stuff and blame everyone else! You make if you didn't know the rules after your issue with your previous club, but your long enough part of cycling, and a licenced rider for years as well, to know the rules. What did you expect not registering at a club in the begining of the year and not apply for a new lincence. That people is going to beg you each day for it. If you was so serious about SA's you would have had a licence and be part of a club from the begining of the year.

What a dum ass. The other parties involved, like ur friend Nix tcr, could have far more damages then this clown. Do you guys know what injuries and damages this bloke have.

His great. Ja, also saw that amazing performance on the tour de lesotho, he won the race by pacing himself nicely all the way with ease. But what he did on this tour is just more awesome!! Keep it up JL

Uhhh. There is a lot more young riders that has proven themselves over years and this last year that they are worth it to be in such a team. But how could i forget. The poor other countries just need to get better chance by wasting us and seems if we forgot how to ride a bike!!

Think the critiria is who's most crawled up someone's bud that matters!! How the hel almost 1 full team gets selected with ZERO results to prove, is above me. How stupid do the selecters think we all are!!!

Think that list is not very updated!!!! Not that is something proud of to be if you are on the list!

Dam what a crap team, this must be one hell of a joke. There's a lot more young riders that performs better at a constant rate. Nice if selectors gets to involved in certain teams. Where's proline, where's minolta girls and some of the individuals as well. The country that wins this race has better possibilities in bigger events, but ja. See that we at our best to go and win it...

Well. For those accidents that happens due to poor visibility, this points listed by shaunh will help. It is a start at least in the right direction. Yes, you will always get the dude in the car with an anger managment problem that is out to go over cyclists. Maybe fighting and losing a battle. Defenitly yes. But winning the war, definitly no. This thing about everyone being negative about the country is actaully bullsh*t. It's one hell of a perception. Our country improves daily enormously, but all we do is moan, moan and moan about everything small there is to moan. Who's moaning the most, the guys with houses that are worth millions and bmw's and mercs parked in the garage. Everyone is saying we will be the next Zimbabwe. Weird that our statistics is worse then those of Zim, according to crime and what more, but why is our countries state not worse then them. This country reached heights in the last 2 years that it wasn't able to do the last 20 years, actaully 40 years or more cause 20 years back it was only the gold price that made our country look good. It will probably take another 2 years before everything is over. Seems to me they keep themselfes busy with this case untill the next doping scandal is discovered.

The question is actually. Will something be done now that a young talented cyclist is killed. There have been so many accidents and cyclist killed this year alone, it is shocking!! There was a whole awareness ride that some hubbers organised. It seems that we almost must have such a ride each weekend. The goverment just take notice and forget about it later.

I hope they get that driver soon, an accident can happen, but you stop when it happens. Not drive off as if it is nothing!!!
