  1. Great Pieter. Good for you. Did not see you name on the results sheet, so I was wondering. Saw on the cyclenation site that Boerie (don't know his real name), took it easy to the line. Pity that we (ok, me actually) are not strong enough to create a gap and stay away to the end. Hate the bunch sprints!
  2. Hi Clay I really like the FiT kit!! Remember you well.
  3. Remember you. I was the one in the Kleenex kit and 10 year old Giant TCR. The Lenmed guys are always agressive and makes a great race of it. Clearly very strong and experienced. But for some reason never feature in the sprint.
  4. Good race, with a number of safety risks when the shorter route merged with ours, but again luck was on our side. Racing was made harder with a few VA visiting, but no-one strong enough to stay away. Good day out on the training bike. Thanks to the marshalls!!!
  5. Yep
  6. Ha, ha... sounds like a plan in the making. Now I need to build a bit of a marketing plan around this one!
  7. Riding Emperors, but in 2 minds about Rooiwal. Perhaps family needs to come 1st on Sat morning!!
  8. Hey Blitzer I can pick up your number on Friday. Give to you Sunday Early. Let me know!!
  9. Which means, we were going too slowly. You should have been in that break :-)
  10. The privilege is really ours JP. Your genuine concern for a sport you don't even participate in, and giving up your private time for, is actually priceless!!
  11. Surging in the VB group will even be worse!! Was a great race, great route, safe because of the bike mashalls, and the AL bunch was well behaved no gutter on the white line. Too many wheelsuckers IMHO, but hey, that is road cycling, will never change!
  12. Great job!! Was hoping for a bit of a slip when I broke away, but you were too clever for that!!
  13. BTW, the wheels carry a 1 year warranty. So speak with DH on the issue you have!
  14. Yep, HUB got 4th, 5th and 6th and perhaps even move. Was good to meet Cheese in the parking area after the race!
  15. Eish, the AL bunch was very well behaved during the race. Did not see the incident, but not good for cycling.
  16. Nice ride Rasta, 6th and that after our break away of ± 12 km!!
  17. \\ Hey Blitzer, sorry that I missed you today.
  18. What a lekker race and route, again only a few making the racing, the rest only wanted to sprint for the finish. Was good to meet a few hubbers!!
  19. Nope, not closed. Do stay on the left of the white line, do have some fun, don't litter, don't cross the white line, don't wheelsuck the whole race.
  20. Will be in my Kleenex Kit, come say hi please!!
  21. Will be in my Kleenex kit again!
  22. AL for me, with all the other usual Hubber suspects it seems :-)
  23. Eldron I had the same sense where I compare the Epic with the CPT, but I found the CPT just as hard as the Epic, despite the stages being shorter - althought we kinda raced the CPT where we rode the Epic more conservatively.
  24. AL for me as well!!
  25. When is the on-line closing date? And the 100 km road race route & profile? Thx
