    Rugby...

How shocking is the officiating though?!? Crusaders scrumming illegally, lots of off the ball scuffs (Liam Messum's attemted rear naked choke just before bismarck's kick) en then the tip tackle in bulls vs force is a penalty but in sharks vs chiefs, it is red (latter being correct) No wonder stadiums are going empty and fans are going crazy...
  2. The sad part of it all is the perpetrator will face a few charges, and come off lightly. Until such time that traffic transgressions are not treated as a serious crime, even with light injuries, people will continue to do as they please on the roads.
  3. Alpine's on american classic...
  4. All of them... Just not with a v collar... must be rouund!
  5. Well, not today, but on Friday... 1st ride @ the spruit. Awesome ride! http://distilleryimage8.s3.amazonaws.com/b5274d48c6c811e3a48124be05957c90_8.jpg
  6. Very interesting. I uses stans in both tubes and tubeless... Tubeless setup is with ZTR Alpine rims, stans rim tape and Rocket Ron tyres. Only issue that I have noticed, was after about a year, the valve pulls out from the tube in non tubeless setup. But I cannot recall a single puncture with stans.
  7. 130 Pages... Ja, about that. I'll rather ride my bike, do some work.
  8. Could you not have posted this earlier? I would have save myself a lot of internet reputation points!
  9. Cool, Chop, jealous and Troll... Next up heathen. Luckily I am still to resort to name calling. Who is the real troll? Call it back pedaling then. I did not see the invoice. I read the Carte Blanche bit. Perhaps I could have seen it if it was included in the original post. Dare I ask on what page it is? In fact, save yourself the time of replying. If needs be, PM me further insults. Sometimes you just need to accept that one fool was away from the hub for more than a couple of days, and just missed the bulk of it all.
  10. lol! I should have added bike specific... I have a set of foakleys...
  11. 1. Relationship - That's subjective... I don't know if there is such a thing nowadays. Look at this post. 2. Definitely something to take note of, you cannot trust people blindly. 3. Indeed true, but was it out of pride, necessity or anger? Maybe impulsive? To change my angle, how do one stop counterfeiting? Perhaps not a solution that we can find here, but one should sure as hell explore all avenues and investigate every possible detail before you buy these kinds of goods.
  12. I'm not even sure if I need to reply, being a chop after all. I was merely questioning the conditions of the sale, and if it was indeed shared with ALL BUYERS that they are not getting the real deal, and if they accepted it. Irrespective of perceived relationships. Let me ask this, who willingly here bought any fake product and are willing to admit to anybody that they bought a fake? Isn't there two sides to a story?
  13. Most definitely. Repair + Respray on the cards. And also a chance to hang on to something that is of sentimental significance to me. But I think eventually fatigue will set in. However, the crack has not progressed at all in the last 4 months (after I have noticed it).
  14. I have actually not followed a single day of the Oscar trial... Hmmm... Maybe that is the next thread to catch up. My problem here is that people want all the nice stuff, but they cannot afford it. That includes me. Hence they go to someone for a "solution". The "solution" then works fine for some time, until the smallest issue is brought up, and the pride steps in, and no one wants to own up. But the facts are: 1. You did not have R160K for a new DOGMA 2. You paid +- 2 thirds of a Dogma's price at that spec for a "dogma" 3. Now you are upset about the "dogma" - but as the potential client, you initiated it. I seriously do not get that. How can you expect to pay so much less for the bike? Are you ok then with stolen goods? Cause there is not a lot of other alternatives. Either it is fake or stolen at 2 thirds of the DOGMA's price.
  15. Nah, let me pay this price for stupidity. Also had 6 years of flawless service from it. I should just get it over and done with...
  16. 1. Maybe I should scam them. Oh yeah, I don't subscribe to that. 2. Jip, currently only a 22kph average... Oh... Reading. Nah, I hate reading (bring on the roasts, heard them all). 3. U sure? The only love here is for cycling. Everything else is either neutral or hated. And one especially stand to be corrected several times. 4. Indeed, the warranty does not cover stupidity, no matter what you did it for. I still in between two minds... 27.5 or 29er replacement.
  17. It's not faster... Just "better" But to humor you... Towed a 47kg trailer for charity on the 94.7. Bad idea (or maybe not) to fix it to the seat post.
  18. 1. GT Has life time Warranties on their frames. 2. 130 Pages was a little rough to catch up. 3. This is the hub, sympathy is not to be given here... For anybody, by anybody, to anybody. 4. Education, now you know the GT has a lifetime warrantee Ekt n bell en n Rudy Project... Hulle help goed dankie. My sinvolle bydrae, seker niks vir jou nie, maar word groot, en wees net bedag, as iets nie reg lyk nie, is dit heel moontlik nie.
  19. lol, the "HUH???" is actually apt. I think it is all in the mind. But base on my times of late and the fun I'm having... Much better!
  20. So Master Yoda gives grammar lessons too... Nice!
  21. On the topic of safety... My GT Mountain bike frame has a crack in it, at the seat post. I know of this, and the bike is especially fine now. In fact, the crack made it better. So although there is on sight self a finer weave on the outside, it may be for finishing purposes. You have to cut the frame up for closer inspection. Perhaps even a stress test. With that said, maybe some people just need to grow a pair. How do you expect to buy a 160k bike at under 100k?!? If there is smoke, there is a fire. Paying 90k for fake everything... Well, see that as punishment for trying to pull a very obvious fast one!
  22. True dat, however, one cannot help but to get that feeling of being shafted. Maybe ASG could elaborate on the details?
  23. After missing last year and having a horrid experience the year before, I will be back to redeem myself this year... I am in between two minds, should I be glad, or should I start Crying already... One thing is for sure... The Jock is a proper Challenge!
  24. I know it is a little late... But how about this? https://www.google.co.za/maps/dir/-25.8820885,28.1926806/-26.0098978,28.1031592/@-25.9534392,28.1747424,13z/data=!4m9!4m8!1m5!3m4!1m2!1d28.1862397!2d-25.8925729!3s0x1e9565eea99ef897:0x7b103edd256d5265!1m0!3e2
  25. sad to say, but it seems sa is not a good place either. Goodluck, I hope she recovers soon!
