  1. Music is a good idea, but I thought Hubbers could get some better ideas to keep the riders motivated. Very disappointed
  2. Thanks, Basson! Yes, everything is included in the frame price currently at R35k. No sneaky hidden costs. What is your Ultimate Ti Bike?
  3. Jip, and he did not do too bad either.
  4. So many brave souls. Any ideas how to help them stay motivated over the long roads?
  5. Would you be fine with this as an upgrade to the pakdonkie?
  6. Ultimate Ti Bike or Ultimate Pakdonkie?
  7. Do you prefer road or mountain to match your shoulder, or maybe cyclocross then you can carry it on your shoulder?
  8. Reduced fatigue would be an advantage due to the comfort of a Ti frame especially in the longer triathlons such as Ironman would certainly make sense.
  9. Short note on the "engineering" side of the corroded seat post: (Warning: do not continue to read if you are not a really boring person) The chemical process is known as Galvanic Corrosion, it takes place when there is contact between an "anode" and "cathode" material. We had to do quite a lot of research on this topic to prevent it in our Bamboo bikes where the lugs are made from CF and the dropouts from Alum. Prevention is better than cure, so if you have a CF frame, use a CF post. If you have to use an Alum post, use one that is anodized so there is a "barrier" between the CF and Alum. If you have to use an uncoated Alum post, bookmark this forum to refer back to someday. 10. Crazy doing the ride with SS The only SS for a ride like the Munga that my mind could make sense of is one with a Rolff hub. Good luck Max. Jy is n YSTER!
  11. T-minus 15 Days. All riders ready and just finishing some last minute kit prep I assume . Best of luck from our side for the last push before it begins.
  12. Oak Valley to Oak Valley on Wines2Whales, now resting beneath the beautiful trees.
  13. Looking good, have to love a Ti frame that works.
  14. I would love to, but its more than one bike... XC racer, Trail bike, Road, and Gravel... Would the offer still stand for so many pictures?
  15. I am out on a bit of a punt here but looking for someone to help us out with a photo shoot on some Ti frames we are building up. Anyone knows someone who knows someone in the Overberg area that can take some awesome pictures? Thanks
  16. A quick note to Munga riders: Thanks for all the interest thus far, so it's now time for a final call to anyone wanting to come to the party as D-Day is getting closer!
  17. Something unique, something different...
  18. Came across a beast this week. Should be fun (especially on downhills)!
  19. I am relieved, I thought there was a price on your head for your Munga entry and someone got hold of you in a dark alley.
  20. Suddenly very quiet from Slowbee. Wonder why?
  21. Lets put your missis' name on the top tube. Then she will be with you every moment of every race.
  22. Challange accepted! It would be an honour to replace your SIR 9. @Slowbee, watch out!
  23. Hi Dave, sounds like a fair compromise. I'll come to the party with our proposal on a frame if you can get that entry off Slowbee. As you said, you're always game for a challenge.
