    Its 90 000 points for Gold, not 70 000. Thing that got me this year is that they stopped the carry over off points. But I only need another 6025 points to go get to gold again and go to Diamond. I have a fitness test booked for next week, so that should do it.

    Did the Marathon and it was as expected. Maybe to much tar road but I was grateful for it as I was seriously unprepared. Only complaint I Have is that stupid zig-zag quad bike track piece that was put in before the last water point? Those little kicks finished me off properly.

    2 Days to go. Man I feel pretty unprepared for the 80km. Gonna be a long day on the bike.

    I dont know how steep the extra climb is thats in this years race, but for the old route the biggest problem you would have is probably getting dropped in the beginning because the 34 is too small. The start is flat and very fast.

    I hope we see some fireworks from Quintana today. If he can take some good time out of Berto it will make the rest of the race extremely exciting. If he cant, I doubt AC will be challenged by anyone. Froome is not close. With some luck he might be on the podium, but even that seems a long way away for him.

    I have a Camber but use it mostly for Marathon type riding. Its awesome. Not the greatest climbing bike but goes downhill like nothing else I have ridden before.

    Crater Cruise is nothing like Van Gaalens. Alot more district roads and not that much technical stuff. It can be deceptively tough especially when its hot. The long stretches of corrugated roads ware you done slowly and then they throw a couple of nasty pieces in at the end that hurts.

    Its going to be interesting. Froome doesnt have to beat Quintana in the mountains. He must just not loose too much time. Froome should be able to put some good time into Quintana in the 2 TT's. We might see Froome having to use some different tactics than his normal trying to rip everyone apart in the mountains tactics. Its going to be an awesome race. Just hoping Froome can stay on his bike this time. Apart from Froome, cant see that anyone can touch Quintana. Pity Berto wont be 100%.

    I am also pretty sick of being sick. Feeling 100% for the first time in months this week. But man my fitness is now nowhere. I had all these plans to train all the way through winter this year. But, just like last year looks like I will be starting from scratch again trying to build some fitness and strength.

    Well done to those that did the 12hr race. Was getting really cold by 8pm when the 6hr finished.

    What Browser are you using? I had the same on Google Chrome. Used IE and it went through.
