That's the thing.....I ride a 2.8 cannondale and a Merida matts100 that we upgraded significantly but even combined the value of both bikes is far from 10k. So if I am to pay 150-200 a month is it really worth it?

nope if something happens to them i probably won't buy another one and stop cycling

Who's gonna be the photographer? You can send in what picture you like. It can be a scanned one from one of you race photos or your ID photo or like Minty one of your bike take with your cell. The images will only be 17.7mm x 14mm so quality is not really an issue. You mean you actually have a pic from a race that you like???? After a year and a half I am yet to see one that I like.....ok except the one that BB's personal photographer took.....I like that one

Yes AGAIN This time I gotta find out what's up with my front blades/derailleur and whatever else is in that region. Since my beloved chain protector was lost to some silly rock I am having trouble (OK Im not being truthfull but I really don't remember when this sh*t started). Every time I go over a bump, my gears on the front go crazy....My shifter shows it's on the mid ring, but in reality it isn't and you have to click it back to the mid one. Also quite hard to change from the granny to the mid ring (and yes I shouldn't be on the granny since I am so so strong but yeah whatever). A few weeks back my cable just came loose now this.....I really don't know anymore I am kind of getting used to it but I am just curious to find out and enrich my bike fixing skills.....I mean they are growing at an amazing pace Yesterday I commuted to work for the first time ever and it was great, besides the times I got off the tar and the bloody thing kept on moving wherever it wanted to........ So what new things do I need? Or is it fixable? And no smart ass comments pls.....like "buy a new bike" cos I'd love to but......
