  1. I saw yesterday they had wheels on CRC with XT hubs and some cheap @ss rims for R1400 about. Juicy 5's were R2000 for a complete set.....
  2. I've reached a point in my cycling career where I need new wheels. So it makes sense to get disk compatible ones while I am at it and switch to disks all together. After phoning around I get the impression that it is better to just get a new bike. Juicy 5s come in at R2880 a set Juicy 3's @ R2050 And shock and horror LX R4200 (I mean this is insane IMO). Are these guys doing their job properly and giving me the right stuff I cannot say. The dude assumed I don't know what V brakes are so make your conclusion..... A new Silverback Phoenix comes in @ R3969, disk brakes and all. What % of the cost is allowed for brakes/fork/frame/components.....? bored girl2008-09-30 07:26:16
  3. Think pedals should come with BIG LUMINOUS stickers on them, telling people bout putting them on. Obviously the little arrows on some of them are not enough. Mint Sauce and me witnessed a dude destroy never riden XTR cranks at Knysna.....before the race....
  4. Yeah they look cool It's all about looks apparently.... I like spinning.....just ask jmaccelari
  5. BB, your 2009 kit looks awesome!
  6. And dont believe all that crappa about girls... it takes a real cyclist not to be afraid of riding with a compact group set Are you gonna tell him to get a tripple next?
  7. Please don't be mistaken......It won't be like a WOW difference. I changed from 175mm normal cranks to 170mm compacts.....do I feel a difference? Um.....besides the fact that I felt a bit lower, not really. I still suffer on hills. I didn't do it cos I wanted help on the hills, we were looking for the right size lenght and it happened that the ones we found were compact and carbon....

  14. OK since I've been so out of everything....and lazy to look When is this? Does it cover the whole Sabie Ex route? How much is it....can I hang onto BB's saddle? You know............a few answers would be appreciated
  15. Does it look silly? How much was it?
  16. Very very nice! Will we be graced tomorrow with its presense? And who sold you that saddle?

  19. ****.....is THAT what I'm doing wrong???
  20. I am going to do it this year. It is after all on my doorstep and I believe I can do a sub 3 at my 2nd one. But will be very selective about my rd racing from now on. I for 1 suck at them and 2 they are expensive.
  21. Get up at 4 like we do
