Fritz pienaar has a group on wednesdays....they leave at about 6 but sometimes don't ride the spruit but round lonehill/kyalami area the thing with the spruit on a week day is crossing wiliam nicol in peak hour traffic.......i went once and that just put me off so don't know if we managed even 1 hr ride. That was from paulshof side....if we start from emarentia side might be a longer ride.....

Question: Doing a race sun, prize money only for licensed riders.....now cgc is opening only on mon and I haven't got my card so.....where can I get some kind of proof that I indeed paid and am waiting?

I think I had a great first year on the bike (oh it's actually not a full year yet ) I met some great people, did some amazing races and got to travel to places to do them. I camped.......that's saying a lot believe me I got to taste the results of hard work and that only motivates me to work harder. Got some very nice results at my races too But I think the best is that I made a decision to try it and stuck to it.....a year down.....how many to go.....only time will tell

as we are on the topic of brakes..... I read in some book this past weekend that you should adjust your brake pads that they touch and actually do some serious work, when you have pressed the levers half way. Apparently where your levers reach half hay is where your grip strenght is the "strongest" hence your brakes are most effective there...... something of the sort Any thoughts on that? I was thinking of changing mine to be like that as my hands are quite small and it kind of made sense to me....

I ride with 2bar and I definately do not weigh 13.5kg.... Ah... but then you're a girl. Ooops running to hide away quickly. so what you saying is even if I put on 20kg I can still ride at 2 bar cos I am a girl?
