i think cycle lanes will help but re-training driver mindsets will also help. man some drivers are super agro behind the wheel - more than likely also agro in person. a cyclist is also a human being - but they percieve us as the enemy.

some people are thin. some people are not thin. they can all ride a bike; some a little slower, some a little faster. and a bike has got to be the funnest, easiest, most addictive way to get fit and keep fit. sure better than a boring treadmill in a gym and fad diets.

I went trhough two selle italia flight gel flow saddles - both cracked on the underside next to a rail. I weigh 68kg with a fat % of around 9. So dont think that ws the problem. Went back to a FSA full carbon saddle. Sexy as hell and super hard! Sleel like a race saddle should be and light too. I think the other Selle Italia saddles are also good

yeah. why do they hve to do that whole take bottle out, hold bottle to the left, bring botle to mouth and drink, then rextend back out o the right, then return botle to its holder? Like a drill they have been taught to do by numbers.

@ fandacious.. you are very right, especially considering the majority will always be judged by the minority. At least I hope the cyclists like the ones you mention are the minority. Otherwise we are all, perhaps, fu**ed. What do you do when you see other riders causing ***: like throwing the finger to motorists? Man I just back off and do my small bit to not be an asshole. Like thanking a driver for not cutting me off, etc. A tiny thing I know but if each rider just tried to better understand the road sharing dynamic we might all be in a safer place.
