I see a lot of people started far ahead of their groups, a few sub 3's on racetec and 3:45 on strava. I feel for the poor uncle at the entrances trying to explain that A is not the important part but the 5 vs 1 on the number.

Depends if Racetec replies. But CT marathon is the next day so there are a few missing.

We are now quits now after paying for 2 full CTCT and getting 2 half ones. May just ask for the refund if not entered as weather looks average.

Completed number 12, puncture in same place as last year before Red Hill so the race was over from then. Still an amazing day.

Had a friend that started in the last group. It was tiny. Think a lot of the 6 hours plus crew did not enter. Maybe its normally a new years resolution, but there were very few people at the back.

That is less than ideal. Feel for everyone in that situation.

There was a race between an eBike and a roadie up Chappies, think the eBike was on eco mode as did not get to the fort!!

We had a 5A chommie sitting in the 1A chute tuning the Rotary uncle that he will just wait here till his start.

Interesting, if you see the start groups these people were in, did a lot better than the groups ahead of them. I thought eBikes were going to be like old ballies jamming around making the climbs easier. This is a little crazy. 5A and 6C, 37km/h average... How many people did they pass with their broomstick handlebars? I think the only solution is having the eBike finish at the top of Signal Hill.

If you start riding up the N2 at around 9:45 you may find some people doing a second lap ????

Also, does anyone have any nice designs for a pergola? The last one I made was nice, but the mount to the wall did not age well. Thanks
