They should just walk or ride. My 4 year old riding 4km to school in the morning no problem. When it rains they put on rain jacket. They really enjoy it and is faster than the grid lock.

Not even surprised to find stop signs, pillars, robots all knocked down on roads with schools. Just too many cars. Should ban cars from 1 to 2 roads around certain schools at certain times

Yet when you tap on their window and ask them to move over in the school traffic they get all upset?

People are all idiots, all drivers are useless as I had 12 useless ones this morning. A motorist is driving a 2000kg vehicle and should sort themselves out!

Nobody is stuck behind cyclists, its all the people sitting in metal boxes going nowhere slowly.

There was a Karen on facebook complaining about a cyclists getting in her way and swearing at her when she swerves into them. The average speed on kalk bay main road at 11am on saturday was 15km/h, so not sure where Karen wanted to get passed the cyclists. Always astonished that people are in a rush to sit in traffic or a red light.

Listen its only ever 4 years we have to put up with Olympics... I know its a nice distraction before the Vuelta and WC though...

Like our entire nation, if you want anything, has to be private, health care - private, airline - private, schooling - private. Poor athletes being paraded around by political vulatures a week before olympics.

I see there is a Track and Road cycling mechanics, so no sharing of staff it seems. See the Track manager is posting the videos and Jean is just re posting them, as is a lot of other people.

I think there is 10 seconds between the best, but between the best and the average is probably 45 seconds.

Not sure if its been discussed, see on instagram, the Cycling SA appointed mechanic is MIA for the track cyclists. SA getting help from other nations mechanics. Do they not get their trips paid for etc?

Basically a, "Bye Felicia!" There is more money sending all the bikes to the US and EU markets, rather than sending stuff here.

It really depends what sport, cycling is not that hard to pick up later in life, it just comes down to power. There is zero chance a keen 20 year old goes to play in the NHL for Ice Hockey having played only in winters in US or Canada or Russia. We played against Canadian kids that grew up on ice skates and that could dribble a puck at age 4. If you are not in academy at 16 you are not playing NHL. There is just no catching up. If you an endurance athlete, you can easily switch from running, riding, cross country ski, etc.

This whole, waiting 2 weeks for a race like normal is painful. Can Lewis and Max not have a 100 lap cart race this weekend? Maybe do a sportif on a tandem together?
