Looked like the shoulder of the bat was grounded behind the line (the toe bounced up but not the shoulder, from the way I saw it). bad call in my opinion, but that's not the one that counts.

It started a few weeks ago overseas, loving it. Also looking forward to House of cards season 3 I've also been watching Manhattan and really enjoying it.

This week end: Gone Girl. 20 minutes in, I thought it was going to be the usual expected "unexpected" twist. But man, it was way better than I was expecting. A must watch Edge of tomorrow. Although I am not a Tom Cruise fan, this ground hog day meets SciFi action, was great entertainment.

I saw it recently because of the recommendation earlier in the thread. To be honest I found it boring and highly over rated.

4 is fine. Laptop will work fine. We use a media player with a usb storage drive. I like that over the laptop because you dont have to turn on the computer and plug in the cable every time you want to watch something. also the cellphones and tablets can stream from the drive as well, so can watch movies anywhere in the house. Media player can wirelessly play stuff on the laptop too. My media player was only R600. There are a whole bunch out there or the raspbery pi route if thats your thing. These are my first attempts at lightning. Not too bad for a beginner, i think.

Do you use an ND filter for such long exposures?

One from holiday

I'm not from the area, but I had one of the best runs ever leaving from Muizenberg up in the hills around there and above Kalk bay.

Watched it with the wife for "old time sake" a month ago and thought it was painful, but I loved it as a kid. The Honest Trailer of it is brilliant.

Nope the Peyroux version. It was actually played by "runaway train cult". They play at 44 Stanley on Sundays often. But they played it in the style of the Peyroux version.

This was my wedding first dance song.

Hendrix version of "All along the watchtower" is one of the best covers ever. Even better than Dave Mathews IMO.
