Deore CS M4100 could work but it’s was designed to work with a 2 x 10 system. You could just remove the inner ring as I don’t think the chain or rear derailleur can cope with the range of a 22 to 42 and a 42 to 11. not sure what crank you have but a 42 -28 would work nicely but you likely have to change the chainring mounting spider

That was the coverage broadcast around the world. I don’t think the producer has cobbled any other footage together that showed the entire chase. In the live broadcast there was a few more cut backs and forth between the Mvdp chase and the leading group but I don’t think the producers had any idea of what was goi g on till the MVDP group blew past the third group on the road. That’s when they got a wake up of what was actually unfolding.

He broke away then got reeled in by a group of chasers. I think it was with 6km to go they had a 50sec gap to close and MVDP says to his group , “ hou mijn Amstel moeder knuekers” and sets off after the leaders who have started playing games with each other already. This was Alaphillipe and Fuglsang…. MVDP basically conducted a 5km TT to ride that 50sec gap into the ground. He’s clearly improved the length of his TT!!

The Trek is the most versatile bike in the posted selection. The Pyga is nice but heavy and heavier than the Trek (which is also alloy I assume) Something to watch out for with the Pyga 110 29 alloy frames is that they crack on the seat tube below the top rocker link cradle. Make sure you insure the bike if you opt for it.
