  1. the clutch could be clogged with dirt or the plastic sea is deformed and is creating too much friction. Usually replacing the entire Derailleur Pulley cage with clutch is the only long term solution. The sprag bearing clutch can be flushed out and regreased.
  2. Keep the faith please .Many years ago I was assaulted and laid a charge of Assault GBH. My Assailant got creative and laid a very creative countercharge that placed a lot of stress and pressure onme personally. Despite being completely made up the SAPS took the accusation and laid the charge on his behalf. After a long investigation his charge against m was thrown out due to lack of evidence and my charge against him stuck, He was convicted and let off with a suspended sentence and a warning, but he struggled to find work thereafter. Apparently he didn't learn his lesson.... So despite SAPS incompetence the truth prevailed. Not every outcome is this positive but you have the weight of evidence in your favour

  10. I did read the article and I didn't see not pitching for an awards evening as being particularly indicative of cheating
  11. its needs an ultrasound to determine definitively whether its cracked or not. The spongy test would be effective if the crack has propagated through the bulk of the laminate. If its a surface crack it will be in the resin and propagate to the paint. That's easy to fix but hard to determine without removing paint
  12. They winnreceive a two year ban just like the Strava Hoes who ran for them
  13. nah, no quips from me. The first two chaps are actually really likeable guys. Did the crime completed the time. Continuously bringing up those transgressions and painting them in the same light as a child sex groomer is nowhere near fair .
  14. is your ride on Strava....? Because.....you know
  15. People have got away with it in the past . This year they went digging by trolling through photos and matching numbers to people. It’s the Actionohoto Ai recognition bot that outed these peeps
  16. so many make "honest" errors... It is easier to beg forgiveness than to ask for permission ...or something like that

  19. The binding part is easy, the alignment of the cups is a bit trickier
  20. its a threaded cup that is glued in but it appears the glue joint has failed. A shim wont help because when you thread the BB cup in it will turn the cup inside the shim
  21. also speak to @Lance Stephenson in Elgin, RA Cycles in Somerset West, @RBC PE (Robbies Bicycle Concept PE or send it in to Omnico in Lansdowne
  22. true, there is a bit of work involved. To do the job properly the cup will have to be removed, the bond areas on frame and cup cleaned, BB will need to have material replaced (glass) and then the AL cup bonded back in place assuming the galvanic corrosion isn't so bad that the cup is a write off
  23. yeah, that sounds like the way to go. Insurance will pursue the same route just at their cost followed by jacking the premium. What frame is this?
