One of my proudest moments as a hubber was our 'Santa' ride in December 2007 when we donated gifts/stationery/food etc to the children's home. Over a 100 hubbers riding, metro police and thinkbike escort, over 2 trailer loads of stuff. I would like the self gratification moment of experiencing that feeling again and am looking at arranging a hub ride for this purpose at end Nov/ beginning Dec; depending on the date of the 24 hr at NF. Please vote on whom to support. Will update as details gel.

The full effect of the 'credit crunch' will only manifest itself in SA over the next 9 - 12 months. We aint seen the worst yet. Never nice to see a business fold but I guess it becomes difficult when competing against big chainstores/wholesalers and overseas online stores
