So.... At some stage or the other most of us have something to sell or get rid of that we find in our garages, parts trunk or drawers. I advertised a Polar CS300, and a 26" X-King UST tyre as well as some other goodies seperately. So on the tyre I get a PM from Norm333 saying he will take it, we discuss logistics a bit and leave it at that waiting for him to get hold of me on the Saturday as discussed. I had 3 calls on Friday from buyers wanting the tyre to which I declined as I was keeping it for Norm333. Needless to say this is a rant so you can see why Im naming and shaming as well, norm333 blew hot air leaving me sitting with my goods and 3 lost buyers which most likely wouldnt have stuffed me around. Had I said the tyre is still available and someone came on the Friday, paid the money, left with the goods. I would have been lambasted on the hub as Ive seen before with people selling goods promised to someone else. I see why they do this and I dont blame them, I should have operated like this from the outset. Same thing with cas247 on the Polar, I turned away another sale after him purely because he called dibs after another fellow in my advert... Silly me being the person I am and holding it for them. Stupid mistake to think that people will stick to their word. Yes I felt a name and shame was in order here, I do not apologise for it. What ever happened with common decency??? EDIT: Norm333 has made good on his deal, paid for and had the tyre collected.
