I can really see how more and more people will be allowed to work from home. I already have a few friends that have flexible work hours or just work from home. Won't be able to afford going home and back, definitely not staying in Pretoria and working in Joburg.
I have a GT Sensor 9er Pro, if you can look past the colour (Bright, glow in the dark, only bike that can be seen out of space, green!!!!!!) then that is a very good option. Upgraded all my parts to Sram X9 for very little. Still think it is the cheapest dual sus 29er besides the Fuji Outland 1.0 (Can't find stock of the Silverback Moda, that would be the cheapest)
If you are not scared of hippos or crocks you are more than welcome to swim in Rietvlei, might help you with speed training. Ok, all jokes a side, I highly doubt they will let you swim there.
Recently been introduced into the Adventure Racing scene. It looks like the most popular bag is the Solomon Raid Revo 30. You can buy them from www.kineticgear.co.za. It can accomodate a 3l bladder and has all the padding that you would need. Just a recomendation. When you are looking at waterproofing, buy yourself a drybag as well. You chuck all your stuff in the drybag and then put the drybag in the backpack. You will be able to cycle in a typhoon and everything will be dry when you make it to the office (being that you would be so lucky)

Ok stupid question, and most probably one that has been asked before and discussed. How do you calculate PW ratio? Do you need a powertap or is there another way (without taking a second bond on your house) to work it out?
