  1. Thanks Myles, I also have access to even better-than-laterite clay in the Park.. it is a limited supply but fotunately a lot of it. (the yellow patches that you see on the trails) The objective was to get the trail open again to ease the pressure on the DH and also mounting pressure from Parks re the riding of not-so-kosher trails. Now that 4 of the 5 level are open, we head back up and start crafting the features and adding reinforcing.. As Myles pointed out, this weekend is about the Roots trail.. water will be helping with the dry clay that will be shaped for mojo on the trail...
  2. I could post my grocery list.. ?
  3. If I don't start feeling better I think I may need therapy, and not that kind either! The will is there, the body is telling me to wait.
  4. Gary had a big off on SS1, I heard it sent him home to get replacement parts, in Tokai!! Dan you're right, pace is the key. EnduroJC basically won on this methodology. Fab B kept coming back from crashes and stayed in the running but JC stayed in the comfort zone pushing only when needed. It's about getting into the rhythm but something tells me Meurant's design tried to keep guys on edge! ha ha..
  5. @Stoke, it's really good to have you guys online!
  6. http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p3pb10358748/p3pb10358748.jpg There's always some one who didn't listen at race briefing.. er hem, tag on right arm? 'Stoked' to see 'iRide' in this shot too!
  7. Hey, we should take some time out and session a few trails.. I am also looking at playing with the settings a bit. Can you believe I've not had a chance yet??!!
  8. Ha ha, I'm getting flashes of the festival i.e. running back to the trail!
  9. Thank you stoffel and the guys for helping.. best turnout yet!!
  10. Dirtopia festival 2012. Just to say that if there is another one this year, I am there like a beer! The track was so sweet, included a few lush river sections and constant variety. Sorry I missed this one, sounds like it was a blast, was really looking forward to riding with friends and meeting some of you other mullets!
  11. I thought I saw a link to Ewald's http://www.esphotogr...ace_gallery.php coming soon..
  12. Oh My HAT.. is Meurant still pulling the benders? Each day of the 3 day enduro had you guessing how fast to enter. One trail lead you through a long steeep down, so long it left me with tunnel vision only to get to a bend at the bottom where the 'light' should have been.. ha ha those who went over surely found the light coz the general idea was just to gunn-it! Real on-your-toes stuff!
  13. What thread, oh, the girl.. sorry
  14. Ah the middle eastern bargain.. organise!
  15. I like where this thread is going. A SP and DW comparison.. ooh

  18. Good bit of info, thanks but I was meaning on the helmet rotor.. oops!
  19. Cool, you can turn the camera to face into the trail right? That might be an interesting angle.. keen to see, when you back?
  20. oh and YOU need a quadcopter up there! You are the GoPro go to guy!
  21. Quadcopter/Huey.. >_< Tough one.. how many tons of stone will a quadcopter take?
  22. .. and dry out the wet spots.. Damn, what a useful tool! I need stone delivered on Switchbacks, can you get the Huey?
  23. Hey, I just thought of a great way to sweep the trails! It might take nerves of steel though!!
  24. Pffft, no problem! Oi 'giel, can you not steer with your knees? Ignore the guy panicking next to you, we need those shots!
