  1. I'm not often left with the feeling of regret, but I regret not having a charged phone with me to take a few shots of the the trail!!! I can't get passed "WOW!" Started working on the trail today (been without a vehicle for this week) and the progress is astounding to say the least. Myles, "we" have the good wekkahs! Update: Entry cut down to height, berm is in (and what a berm!!) and "tree drop" run-in has been filled..
  2. No.. and I don't think I want to try either. The Blings would pick up everything in the trail and throw it at my eyes with brilliant accuracy!
  3. you are either very creative or very creative..
  4. Waiting for the scientific calc app to download, need to rope in some trig to get these mofo's on the back. Boys took a look at 12 and decided lunch was a better idea. Now they are working on it, "council style". What's in the post?
  5. 42a durometer.. soft all round. Ran these in the Lopes Bling Bling's few years back.. What a tyre, so wide with high side knobs, the bike could stand on it's own!
  6. What's for lunch?
  7. no.. not even close, that's a chick movie!
  8. Simonsberg is a new trail so rough and technical may not be on the menu for this one.. ??
  9. ....and there you have it.
  10. I'm game.. I'll drag my fat unfit asset around the trails on the 24th..
  11. nooit, birdsh..

  13. Chill, I know..
  14. Dude I feel for you, but when a problem exists, we cannot discuss it for fear that others in different parts of the world may be experiencing something worse? If that's the case, I'll never say I am hungry again because I know zanu-pf has killed or chased out all their farmers!
  15. I agree. Another reason not to bring your dog to Tokai.. but you see that is your argument in reverse. A lot of dog walkers and horse riders flaunt the rules and place themselves and "pets" in unnecessary danger.
  16. It's not that we have an issue with it, not at all. The issue is that dogs are not allowed in Tokai whether on a lead or not. Now as for you calling us fools.. like a fool you did not read the thread.
  17. No we are not, you are correct but can you walk your dog in Tokai? The 'law' says no.
  18. *Keep reading* No law against it, except where the law states you may not.
  19. Tell the baboon that. Most recent case it's tooth was so far under the poor dog's scalp above the eye, that when it turned to attack the human, it's body moved but mouth stayed fixed to the dog's head. Eventually ripped the skin open.. actually only reason the human is fine is because of the dog's tough skin..
  20. I'll let the enviro monitors know to keep a lookout.. such a pain to replace!
  21. This statement is as true as a horse being allowed on any single track in the Table Mountain National Park, whether for walking or cycling.
  22. Several issues. 1. Tokai is a no dog area 2. Baboons eat dogs 3. Unsuspecting cyclists do not expect dogs in Tokai, refer point 1 4. Telkom mast access is via Telkom serviced jeeptrack, vehicles on this road is expected.
  23. Started at the start of the run, two rides prior.. I've been progressively adding air and pressures are always where I left them, or close enough. No apparent loss of air, certainly no burping, my fingers will testify that you don't get a tighter fitting combo than Subrosa and NN. It even sealed before the Stans went in!!
  24. Chjoop liss
  25. Pfft, without a bakkie only way those stumps are getting down the hill is if I drill a quick release through each.. "Mocking"?! Me? Gotta go.. mom's calling.. supper
