  1. There is this but to be honest the dust thrown up by wheels on some roads will get in everywhere. If there is a gap the dust gets in. Even the seats of my bakkie need a good cleaning after a week away driving up ad down those district roads. Best thing I found was getting the bike on the roof. Works like a charm and never looked back. On the back or on a trailer and the bikes will always get covered.
  2. I had this issue as well when heading our place down at Infanta. This involves 60km on dirt roads and honestly if you put the bike on a rear towball rack you cannot tell what colour the bike is. Honestly that fine dust is so thick that I've had to strip my MTB down. My gravel bike I just threw in the river and pulled it out and still had to do a full chain clean, get the toothbrush out to got through it all. The dust is weird though, it's like fine dust but when it gets wet it's like clay sludge. I did a lot of looking about and someone else posted a topic about it here
  3. Echelons! Whoo hoo!
  4. I will admit that if you put 'I won't answer messages asking if it's available' then I cant help but immediately send you a message asking 'has this one sold?'
  5. Did you get an answer?
  6. I've now issue with 'is it available?' it's a pretty valid question. No point launching into a 'where can I see it, blah, blah' if the one just goes. Sorry it's sold. It's basically the same as people saying they can't be bothered to answer people who ask that question as it's a waste of time. Look, it takes no time to just go, 'yup it's for sale and maybe let them know where you're based. Literally it take a couple of moments and way less than having read through this thread. It also might get the thing sold sooner and people aren't going to waste your time asking you more questions in the future. It costs nothing to be polite. I can't get the mind set of wanting to sell something then acting like it's the biggest ball ache ever. You wanted to sell it. If it's a hassle then don't. My world doesn't crumble if someone doesn't come back to me after I tell them that it is for sale. I'm not expecting a big 'thanks so much for taking timeout of your day to answer me' reply. It's not something I've ever thought of 'how do we stop this transgression'. Obviously people saying they'll buy it then disappearing, or people not turning up to view (or not dropping a line to say they aren't coming) is a different matter. Much like guys who say commit to the sale and then try to get you in a bidding war or sell to some else. End of the day, 'is it available' is a fine icebreaker and a perfectly nice enquiry in a world where ALOT of items aren't still for sale and people don't pull those down / mark as sold / pending etc. Not like the guys have opened up with a 'hey D8ckhead, what do you think this piece of k&k is that you're trying to pass off as a world class item. I wouldn't pay that if I was the last clown on earth. Hope you slip and fall into a vat of rabid guinea pigs all wearing masks with your moms face on, you fetid, lycra wearing, knob jockey '.
  7. Yeah, and the Sh8tty responses I've had to a simple 'probably best to pull the ad down to save people hassling you' make that a joyous idea.
  8. That reminds me, what ever happened to the beef between him and Henderson when Hendo tweeted out those pretty blunt messages about Fabio cheating / doping. I thought they were doing handbags at dawn in the courts. Ah, the ol' Astana Effect. Always leaves a dirty feeling somehow.
  9. Aru on the Angliru by Simon Gill.
  10. He's 31. Wonder what his next move would be. Body double for beaker?
  11. Exactly, general thought has been he's been getting back to some kind of form this year after everything. Would be nice to see his pain face and to take a stage at the Vuelta.
  12. A truely awful video from Astana covering Aru's 2015 Giro win with some astounding Kazak Euro House the over shadows everything!
  13. Good podcast with AMP on Mitch Docker / The Cycling Podcasts' 'Life in the Peloton'.
  14. I see Aru is retiring after this years Vuelta. Shame, for all the fun, the pain face memes and the rest he did shine bright for a short time before a very bad run of luck in the medical department. and never really coming back. Qhubeka are propping up the joke that they are the team equivalent of the elephants graveyard.

  16. Yeah, they wrapped him up a a while back. Ayuso is on a 5 year as well. Alot of faith in that talent for sure.
  17. What do we win? I'm going with Kristoff to Nordo and everyone else to you guys! I see George B' is rumoured to to come across. I love his Social Distance Podcast with Bewles and Dan. 1) Please let that continue 2) He seems like a bit of Jack Russell and a pest in the peloton at times by his own admission. 3) Not committing too anything as it's not Aug 1 BUT where do you think a rider like that goes with his career? He's an i treating as he's had that stitch issue that has been sorted now, obviously very talented. He's been touted as a GC rider but hasn't made that step out from initial good results when given leadership. There has been issues with his tilts at the GT's but when he was supporting Primoz without that next step up he was doing great work. Do you think he'd be a bit of a Porte with better focus on 1 week races and hilly 1 days like Lombardy etc and then super dom' in the GT's? If roomers are true then you might be getting an Ineos level of talent coming to pull on the jersey. Ayuso, Pog, Formalo, Solar, Bennett, Almeida? All you need to do now is please, please, please get a kick ass jersey. Unfortunately, it looks like someone cut and pasted on word art. Heck, I'll even get our studio on it for free!
  18. Seems like he thought the ramp was 'only removed for the test event' and not 'they removed it at the test event after the practice so logically they are going to do that now. How did your manger, team mate and everyone else know this????'.
  19. Who are these people to you speak of?
