well i did see a rider way ahead of the main Peleton when i came over OKW ( did the 58km) he was at the mall........ main peleton was still rounds the corner half way up from Ocean view........ not sure if he passed them and they did not see ........ By the way the 2010 winning time was ........ 2:18:20 and that was a league race so all the big guns was out ...... winner was from Cape Town Market/Nobel Energy..........

I am having name stickers made for my bikes ......... font match the current font of the bikes name but in GOLD ......... Hub sticker for my car .........

I second that idea ............ Polar shuls consider a "special" 2 bike kit ........... 1 head unit 1 HR strap 2 Speed Sensors 2 Cadenence Sensors I am sure that there is a lot of ppl out there with more than 1 bike that will apreciate a pachake like this....... they dont even need to package it just give a nice discount when you buy an extra speed and cadence sensor with your original purchase ...........

I agree some LBS just want to make a quick buck.......... I use a LBS where they ALL ride........ even the workshop people ride....... so at least they know what you talking about and can relate to the situation......... also get good advise from them knowing that there advsie will cost them a sale .......... they still give it.........

Alternate is to make friends with the mechanic and pay him / her directly ........ can save quite a bit and there is convenience of being able to go to the mechanic on a Sunday ........

I agree. I tried fitting a 10 speed on my sons 8 speed hub (well 8/9/10 is all the same hubs)........ Got the shifter to click 9 times but alas needed a 10 speed chain .......kept jumping when changing in the middle few cogs........... ended up just resticting his current 8 speed cluster (U 14 restriction)till i have the $$ for STI's and a chain............( have a U16 10 speed cluster) ......... at that time might as well get an RD as well then its mostly Ultegra from the SORA he has now.........
