If you looking at spending 15k on a 29er........... go visit them. you will be surprised what they have or can get you. PS : like Buzzman said ........... they busy this week...... so if its mot for Argus then maybe go on Monday. They open from 8.00 til 5:30 mon - friday and 8:00 till 1:30 on a Saturday. Always good service from them even when im just browsing the specials tables and is tempted to buy the discounted goods that i dont really need ........ +1 I started in the "afternoon" but arrived early to park across from the Stadium as well...... then go for a coffee and muffin at Macdonalds ............ then take a slow ride to the start.... was still there by 8:00 .......when i left in the "evening" there was no traffic issues .............

You may also want to consider Cape Town Giants. They ride from Kromboom road every Sunday and sometimes on a Saturday as well. i got a LL and my son a YY we did 2011 Argus and Burger together. i just have a 2010 argus that he dont have. But others that i know did not do any seeding rides and got a XX start and someone that did only Burger ( 25 min faster than us) got AA ..... something definatly wrong with the seeding Bur like you say .......some of us ride for fun ........ and the enjoyment ...........
