  1. at CWC ? Because it's like that a Evobikes, not a single item has a price on it you kind of have to go on the site to check the price of everything you see...

    Yeah at CWC.

I actually only walk into Evo after I've bought online. I don't think of them as a LBS, rather a supplier.

  2. That's one thing I actually wouldn't complain about.

I enjoy being able to browse without being hounded by someone hunting a next commission.

    I'll call when needed...

Of course, when needed, then they're nowhere to be seen. LOL

I think in a normal retail store I would be the same. You kinda learn to expect the question, then when you dont get it...

My other problem there for the most part is, they've blacked the pricing out, so you're running blind. Not knowing what the prices are.

  3. I've never had Evobikes sell me a secondhand fork claiming it is brand new because "it came off a bike on the floor"

I'm not the only person who's had that happen. In-store service is also not great.

CWC In store service is non-existent. i walked in 3 days ago, walked around aimlessly for 10mins then left without even a single sales man acknowledging my presence.

  4.

You could also look at Pro Stealth Carbon 152mm and Bontrager Montrose Pro Carbon 148mm.

Would need to be a 155. I've had a 148mm and its just too small. suffering after a couple kilos.

Saw Bontrager has an Aeolus in the right size. Will make my way to a trek agent on Monday to check it out

  5. Howzit guys.
I'm looking for 155mm saddle options available out there. Particularly for road setup.

I've got the Phenom on my MTB and looked at the Spez Power saddle recently.

But googling has come up quite empty with other manufacturers

I know Farr has some wide saddles, but what else is out there and i suppose, reasonably priced?

    Thanks

  6. I use the Galaxy buds with the ambient noise on. this allows me to hear the music as well as my surroundings.

Particularly on the long days in the saddle.

I keep my buff over my ears to try dampen the wind noise, which helps a lot.

You can hear most of your surroundings if you keep you music low enough, but if you get into it, you wont hear much.

Only gripe is on very bumpy rides the headphones seem to "stutter" almost like they're losing connection all the time. But that really is a first world complaint

  7. If you have the securi-lid (Armadillo) you can fit roof rails to it and use that to connect the Freeride's to.

If not, you can probably get a Skitch set and use that. I use the skitch on my Amarok and it works a charm.

Only issue was placement with the alu roll bars and trying to load a 29er. had to move the proride to the outside of the rollbars

  8. Ja, about that.

Pink boards...that must be the only thing I dislike of the club so far...I have not an effeminate bone in my body, and pink is just a no-go for me...I will be using velcro straps in 2019 to tie that ghastly board to my bike when required, else it will not be taking it's proud place of honour as in previous years.

Its not pink, its salmon!

    I jest, its proper pink!

    Maybe fewer thefts now.

  9. Hello and welcome khz.

I have to be honest, I've been neglecting my trusty steeds for my various motorized 2 wheels of late, I do feel shame, but when you twist that throttle you just dont care.[emoji38]

It is 2 wheels, so still counts, technically  :w00t:
