  6. 2009 Best carbon bike at North American handmade bike show. Independent Fabrications Corvid carbon bicycle (www.ifbikes.com). Looks pretty normal, but check out the lugs on this baby. $5500 ( R47500) for frame and fork. http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q605/shaheedosman/3c83fee6c4fad44ea7c85bde4299d88a.jpg http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q605/shaheedosman/505cef08e151ae6502812850aa8e7f5e.jpg http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q605/shaheedosman/c2fc57723ae6eb9b523d7d1660032f2a.jpg http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q605/shaheedosman/5b29c892639fbb281794351598554ba9.jpg Nice 'lugs' hey!
  7. If he was over the limit and the cyclist/s die he could possibly be charged with murder.
  8. Getting out early before they lose on their investment.
  9. How old are your wheels Capcha? I bought a 2006 bike two years ago that had barely seen 500 km and had been standing in a garage. I broke 4 spokes after 6 months of riding. Even if bike has been standing its possible for spokes to rust if they not stainless steel. Rebuilding wheels can be expensive and not really worth it if they are entry level wheels. I just went out and bought some Mavic Aksiums for training.
  10. @AndrewMclean: Early morning spin round the Cradle was ruined when we came across 2 fatally injured cyclists hit by a vry drunk ... http://t.co/vlHBGLJV

  12. I wish it was mine. Posted a pic of a TF Zero in 'blackbikes'. One can only dream.
  13. Pity he doesnt need an XL, could have scored it for less than R13000. Hmmm I see you are considering a Fondriest as per other threads.
  14. @ niterider My apologies, didn't read your post properly before commenting on Canyon.
  15. Go see Oom Chris for a good deal on Fondriest TF3. Canyon sell directly to consumer only, no middle man. Look at 25 grand plus import duties. Giant TCR Advanced are in that ball park and very light. Caad 10 is awesome as an aluminium frame. Complete with Ultegra weighs in at 7.2 approximately. Vets 40-45 league was won on a Caad 10. Scott Foil is only available as a complete bike last I asked at CWC.
  16. Glad the the bikes are back with owners. Sometimes there is hope after all considering insurance would not have paid out.
  17. @TNT . Dont have it with me now, but range is from 5-25 nm. The case is about 30 cm long to put it into perspective. The wrench is quite a soild piece of kit. My only gripe is that my extensions and swivel socket from my other socket set wont fit the wrench or sockets.
  18. They not badly priced either if you compare to other premium brands. The TF Zero at 800g is R30000 for a frameset made in Italy. The monoque frames like TF2/3 are made in East and then shipped to Italy for inspection and paint. The international reviews are quite good across the range. As on their website you can have custom sizing done.
