  1. Makro? Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
  2. Canondale Caad 10 would be a better buy IMO. No matter what you buy get an Ergofit or BG Fit assessment beforehand and make sure you get the right sized frame. The Roubaix has a more relaxed geometry but still stiff ride and might be the most comfortable.
  3. Cyclelab SW had a special running a month or two back for R400 for Ergomax. Ergofit is basic assesment and then you take results to your LBS to set your bike up. Ergomax is Ergofit but then the technician sets your bike up as well with you on trainer to check setup. Your choice as to where is convenient for you.
  4. Give the gym a rest for awhile. Does it hurt on the bike? Cyclists dont use hamstrings much on bike , its a common running injury though.
  5. Looks nice. Some aluminium stems are lighter. Which one did they fit? Some are aluminium with a carbon wrap.
  6. Theres an Ergofit and BG Fit thread in Tech QnA for more reading. Contact details are also supplied for fitters.
  7. Im 1.85. Ride a large with a 55.5 top tube and a 17cm head tube, 100 mm stem. I use 2 spacers on my steerer, anything lower and I get shoulder pain when riding > 2hrs. A Spez Tarmac, Dale Evo etc have very shallow head tubes. Finding the right head tube and then the top tube is too long meaning I need a shorter stem or my setback is limited in relation to my BB and then my leverage is reduced. A Spez Roubaix is better suited to my frame oh and a Dogma and a C59. Choices , choices.
  8. Get a basic Ergofit done. Should be less than R400. It narrows down your frame choices and gives you parameters for top tube, reach, head tube, stem length, setback, crank length etc. You might fit a large frame but then something like a Tarmac will have a shallow head tube and you need more spacers to raise your handles else you will have shoulder and back discomfort after a long ride. You might then be more suited to a Roubaix as an example. Changing stems and cranks can be costly.
  9. On the wireless this morning NIKE has commented that they would still sponsor LA pending any further developments. the plot thickens.
  10. Budget bru? Check out the Darkhorse wheels thread.
  11. Not at all she is quite the regular rider, even her protection detail have to do it with her.
  12. I train alone most days but late morning in week. I never use the cycle lane from Church street to town. I rather take my chances with cars on N1 on the short stretch to Oswald Pirow street. That stretch on cycle lane should only be done in a group.Did u find a place yet?
  13. Find Zille or Nick Clelland on Twitter. He is an avid cyclist as well. He is the spin doctor for province. Zak Mbele is her spokesperson on Twitter as well.
  14. Thanks Andre. Read reviews and couldnt get a clear idea. Kinda like a good solid pedal as well. Too much float and less tension feels like cleats could clip out with hard riding. AFAIK they can be replaced by LOOK agents if need be. Jinne I smaak your bike. Awesome build.
  15. Read the reviews on these. They pretty well priced and weight not too bad. The review did mention that the hub is a but noisy compared to others. Give them a spin before buying and then decide. Cant see it being too bad to put up with.
  16. I like this one Gummi. Reminds me of RB1000. Copycats. http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q605/shaheedosman/746f78a686c6ecacb65876103071d4e1.jpg

  18. On that point, CWC have these cool 'thinga ma bobs' that look like a water bottle that you can actually put stuff in and then, and then, you can put it, in your water bottle cage to hold stuff. They made of a soft, durable nylon so they not that plastic type. Even has a free zip on top to open and close.
  19. Nice, congrats. Whats that thing under your seat?
  20. Are those Keo Blade Ti's? If so, what tension did you get 12 or 16nm? Share your experience please.
  21. Heavy! Hope he gets it back. White or black decals for quick id?
