IMO, go for the Dale. Much nicer looking bike and built better. Both are specced with Tiagra 10spd and then just upgrade to Ultegra as things need replacing. Shop around, I'm sure you can get the Dale for less than 11000. Like Puncheur said don't worry about wheels. Not much difference at that level. Get some nice racing hoops later on to drop the weight of the bike a little on those special rides for when you wanna whip your mates on the climbs or just improve your PB. The hardest choice is going to be the colour if you have that option.

We drink alot of coffee at work from a normal filter machine. Been trying Woolworths new flavours, hazelnut, vanilla and chocolate. PnP in the VNA has English Toffee in beans and ground if you looking for something flavoured. Not too bad imo. Still prefer my Nespresso at home like Indriya and Rosabaya. Cant wait for the limited flavours. Still have a some Crealto though. That really makes a creamy cup but like they say you must have some milk with it.

Why would you want to wear earphones while cycling? Could you putting yourself at a disadvantage not being aware of your surroundings. If you have wear earphones their are sport specific earphones on the market now which transmit through your tympanic bone infront of your ear allowing you to hear your surroundings. They also retail under R1000. I think Cylcleab have them. AFAIK earphones are not allowed in races unless you are talking to your team manager in team car.

I actually have a credit card just for online purchases. It only has a limit below ZAR4000. I dump the cash for purchases in their immediately after purchase but the small limit keeps me from going crazy. With a small limit also I have extra security in case of CC fraud.

Cash. I am putting a new bike together and sourcing parts online or when available in classifieds if its new. LB shops get my support aswell. Online purchases are actually cash I specifically put on a card for that purchase.

I think walking into a shop and throwing down 30K all at once on a bike is harsh. What are the opinions then on building a bike as the cash flows in? Surely its more expensive but your pocket does not feel it as much and you enjoy building it up piece by piece as a project.

You think prices for bikes are over the top? Saw a 75 inch 3D, full HD, LED, Smart hub TV, a blerrie tv for R110 000. Doesn't even make coffee.
