  1. Can I ask where you bought frame from?
  2. RIP young man. May your family find comfort and strength in this time.
  3. Edge Design has a new Campag Chorus gruppo for sale. I had Chorus on my Bianchi and slowly upgraded to Super Record. You won't be sorry ask any Campy user. https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/83727-new-campagnolo-chorus-11-spd-groupset/
  4. Congrats on your purchase. Say slowly now, Col-na-go C-59 with Dura-Ace or S-Ram- Red. Now after you have washed your mouth out, say slowly, Col- Na- Go, C-59, Fatta in Italia, thats Made in Italy, with Cam-pag-nolo. You will be flogged publicly for putting DA or Red on. You will however be praised even if you put Chorus or Record on. Chorus in itself is as good as DA. Shimano or SRAM on a CLX or M10 maybe but not a C59. Remember Campy wears in, everything else wears out.
  5. Casio have released this model again.
  6. Absolutely gorgeous, pity its too small for me. Place an ad in classifieds and post a link in Retro thread as well.
  7. Possibly Bakoven looking at sunset position.
  8. Tony Martin's Shiv. Because rider's slide around on saddle it has been fitted with grip tape as on skateboards which means a pair of bibs only lasts one ride.
  9. Frame, fork , headset and seatpost sells for €4400 in Germany for frameset made in Taiwan which has to pass to quality checks in Taiwan and then again in Germany. The frameset made in Germany is twice the price.

  11. What would Jens say?
  12. Firstly book yourself an Ergofit with Dr. Swart at Science to Sport or Renay Goustra at Epic Bike shop. They could best advise you on what bike to buy. At your height you would probably need a Spez Roubaix, Canmondale Synapse or Scott CR1. Don't overlook Cannondale CAAD 10 even though its aluminium. You have a nice budget there.
  13. What is your current weight and what kind of budget are you looking at spending? What are your goals like in terms of where do you wanna go with your cycling. Are you planning on doing short funrides or the century variety? Lots of secondhand bargains but would the bike's geometry suit you. Example, some people ride a race orientated geometry where as others prefer a more relaxed setup. Buying the wrong bike can be costly as resale is always at a loss.
  14. Local boy Garth Kruger started up Vankru Cycling based in UK. According to his shop's webpage frames are manufactured in Far East. One of his bicycles built for a customer. Not bad IMO.
  15. Campagnolo wears in. Everything else wears out.
  16. I agree with you. How could they put bar ends on there.
  17. Is that a road shoe he is wearing?
