Boonen apparently punctured. According to today's Gazzetta dello Sport, the Belgian had never punctured in his 14 rides at Paris-Roubaix and has only crashed once, in 2011. Could this be an unlucky Roubaix for Boonen.

Anybody know or have done the route from N2 on the Grabouw side up to the radio mast on the Northern side of Sir Lowry's pass? It's a tar road as far as I can see all the way to the top. Is their an access gate you have to put your bike over and are we allowed to ride it?

I worked it out and I get 5k including Vat and transport. It's €296 including postage from Bike24, just add the VAT here. You might have clicked 2 in the basket. When you go to checkout as well if you choose South Africa it subtracts the EU tax.

If you wanna get a good set of wheels in the sub 3k bracket look at a pair of Mavic Aksiums. At 1750g they not too bad and they are bombproof.

Check on www.enve.com for distributor in SA. I think its Paragontech. You can order from www.competitivecyclist.com as well if you prepared to pay. Local is lekker though for warranty. In sure any LBS who deals with Paragon can order it. Enve stem normally $265, bars $350-400.
