  1. Ergofit is the basic setup where your measurements are taken and you are supplied with settings for your bike to have yourself or LBS apply to your bike. Ergomax is Ergofit and the technician sets your bike up and rechecks everything with you on bike. Ergofit is approximately R350-400, Ergomax R550-600 ( don't quote me on those prices). +1 for Renay if you cannot get an appointment with the Doc. There should be a thread in Tech QnA on topic.
  2. Dr. Swart at Sports Science. He developed Ergofit. Its worthwhile waiting for an appointment with him, imo. 0216495644
  3. Post pics of your bike. Will keep a lookout in the area.
  4. I find the rim on Windmax a bit wider than other helmets, personal opinion. The Rudy's have the netting inside which keeps bugs out. Take your sunglasses with and see if they fit in the helmet as well. Have you tried a Kask Mojito? Most comfortable helmet I have worn to date with good ventilation.
  5. I use to run 53/39 with 13/27 on my old bike. My current machine came with a compact 50/34 and 11/23 rear. I'm trying to find that sweet spot in the range at the back. I seldomly used my big blade with standard crank so normally I would ride on the 19-16 most days. I will most likely upgrade back to a standard crank but that means a new cassette as well with a 27 to tackle anything upwards.
  6. Standard school sarmie we grew up on as kids if there was butter or margarine in the house.
  7. Woolies date and cinnamon bar or Jungle oats banana snack bar. Hot dog roll cut in half, dig out the center and stuff a banana in their with Nutella.
  8. Peanut butter, lots of Floro and apricot jam.

    carbon paste?

R40 is the going rate. Bought some the other day and used a fingertip of the TACX one to put on my bars and seatpost. Put the rest in a small plastic container like the ones you get at fish 'n chips shop for your chilli sauce.
  10. Stunning transformation. Now you need some yellow Mavic shoes to go with that bike.
  11. You should have joined on a Friday. So whats the deal OP? Road or mtb? 26, 650b or 29er? Downhill perhaps? Shave or don't shave? Blade, veet or wax? Btw we humbly request you use the search button before posting a thread.
  12. I wanna hear the spider's side of the story. We have only heard the OP's version of events. The OP even called spider a bad name.
  13. So that's what the T stands for. Do I dare assume you like 'T-strings' instead of full undies.
  14. There are some nice specials on Sidi's with ASG and CWC. I have a pair of Ergo 2 which has seen duty for more than 2yrs through hours of rain as well with no fault. Ergo 3 has the vent at bottom of shoe for hot days. I would love a pair of Wire's in white.
  15. Sidi with Look pedals. Make sure its a carbon sole. Sidi's are generally a narrower fit.
  16. Waxed once, never again. When they got above my knees I begged them to stop.

  18. Maybe you should get an Ergofit. I had a similiar issue with shoulder and back problem after 2hrs in the saddle. Post Ergofit with Dr. Swart bars where bars were raised, hoods brought back a bit and setback on saddle sorted I don't experience that anymore. Have a look in Tech QnA for the topic on Ergo vs BG if you want more info and a list of fitters. Good luck
  19. I use old road tubes cut up to slip over the hooks on hangers and bike stands.
