Lot of things to consider including age and price. If it comes without components and wheels you can spec those lighter, especially wheels and you should dip under 8kg. How long do you want to keep it and is it worth upgradig such an older frame with high spec parts.

What frame is it? Is it painted/ unpainted? Fork full carbon or with alu-steerer? Isp or trad- seatpost?

I would say light is under 1100g and sub 400g for fork.

If its comfort you want with responsiveness go for the Scott CR1. The only aluminium bike that should be considered over a carbon frame is the CAAD 10.
