  1. 7th different stage winner. It’s great to see something a little different this year.
  2. This guy: Marty MacDonald https://www.instagram.com/martymactv/reel/C7bsJ66oUiN/
  3. Not in 2024, after 6 stages… 7 if you included today.
  4. When entering, you have three options: Two imperial distances (100-miler and 70-miler) and one metric distance (60-kays). They added the 70-miler after initially launching the two distances (used in 2023).
  5. I see there is a time predictor on the Fantasy site. I rolled the dice and picked a spot on the timeline slider… 28:05 No science, nor Google searching; just a thumb suck based on what I think they can average (55km/h). It doesn’t allow less than 27 minutes, so they must k ow something more than I do.
  6. The very rare CoffeeRideFriday™️
  7. Luke & G (Watts Occurring) were talking about Cavendish's longevity. He has competed against people that have come and gone, as well as the current generation: Okay, not all are out-and-out sprinters, but he's beaten them all, and I'msure some have beaten him too, so they're good enough to be labelled as a "sprinter": McEwan Hunter Zabel Farrar Ciolek Hushovd Petacchi Greipel Rojas Kittel Sagan Boasson Hagan Colbrelli The boxer... what's his name... Bouhanni And those still competing: Kristoff Ewen Degenkolb Demare (is he still active?) Bennett Jasper Coquard Bling Groenewagen Jakobson I may have left a few names off the list.
  8. Already using IndieVelo, because of the integration with Intervals.icu calendar
  9. The free 25Km that Zwift gives every month, is enough for me to get some hard rides (and occassionally the climb portal). Mostly ride on Ventop route for L4-5 intervals.
  10. Good to see Pedersen competing for the intermediate sprint today.
  11. Ballerini fined for stopping to watch the sprint. https://www.cyclingweekly.com/racing/i-stopped-at-300m-to-go-and-looked-up-at-the-tv-how-mark-cavendishs-teammates-and-family-witnessed-tour-de-france-history Unknown if that was the reason for the fine.
  12. Phil Bauhaus (bib 63) was the only person fined, for deviating from his line in the final sprint... which looked like twitch at 3:28, or perhaps when he wasbetween Cav and the Movistar rider. https://cyclinguptodate.com/cycling/jury-fines-tour-de-france-2024
  13. From my limited view, it looked like he hit the barrier, then then the tar. I wonder if that helped buffer the impact that prevented broken bones?
  14. green light to continue
  15. I would prefer to say the Peloton didn’t give sufficient warning, to each other, of the road furniture leaving guys in the middle (somewhat unsighted) and choosing a side to ride passed. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C89vSf4oxJV/?igsh=MWZrbWZrN2V0OHFvaQ%3D%3D
  16. Lost focus/concentration about halfway into the second, of three, 10-min efforts. The distraction was due to Sir Cav winning for the 35th time. Wasn’t that bad in the end… 🫣
  17. Well done Sir Cav. any chance of #36?
  18. Seems it is my internet connection; or somewhere on the ISP’s connection to me.
  19. Yes, by just under 2-mins
  20. 36:11, less than 2-mins to spare
  21. #willsircavmakethetecut
  22. Hasn't done anything since the sprint for the KOM, so hopefully alles is nou reg.
