None that I could see. It's R50 to enter as either a hiker or mtb. It's quite popular with hikers. Almost didn't have anywhere to park! I think the scariest part other than the descent on the 'snake' route, was coming face to face with a cow on a blind bend.

I've been slowly ramping up my distance, and I found this quite challenging. I'm most definitely still a beginner. It was quite warm already - we got there a bit later than planned. The descents were quite technical and full of loose rocks / gavel and quite a few spots had rocks that stuck out that were quite sharp and required some good maneuvering. I came off once at a low speed. The front washed out as I wanted to turn and power up a hill. You can get up to 32km I think if you do another little section which seemed super technical, so I avoided that one. I enjoyed it. Would do it earlier in the morning before the sun gets crazy, and perhaps I could do a better time.

Morning gents. How's everyone feeling today? The 15km was a really fun ride. Fingers and shoulders are a bit sore. First race.

Reading last year's thread, and it sounds nuts! Hopefully the "fun ride" isn't as crazy as the rest of it.

Sorry for the late reply gents. Yeah! Umhloti. Love it there. This was taken right in front of the Sand Bar & the pizza place. A couple of loops up and down the beach front and we managed about 15km a day.

First time posting here. A little coastal long weekend getaway.
