  1. Tire liners on a Road bike. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> What are the feeling from the people her about putting tire liners in a road bike. I?m not a pro but like doing races.
  2. My 10c. It is not a bad bicycle for someone just starting out, I don?t know what her budget are but you can look for a new 2006 model as well. Here in Pta you can Find a Fuji Newest 1.0 2006 for half the price of a new one, at Solomon?s. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> You can rather spend more money on the extras (good shoes and pedals, computer, ect) and she can use it on the next bike if she wanted a new bike after a year or three. Can any body remember what the specs were on the pro?s bikes in the early 80?s and what times they did 100km?
  3. I asked the question on there website. supercyc@icon.co.za and got this reply: To Whom It May Concern Unfortuantely the manual in this regard is incorrect, only the Comp 130 has this facility to enter your ODO on replacement of batteries.

  6. I think it was the worst organized race if attended ever. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> We were early but the entrance was so badly mark that we had to make a few u-turns before getting in. They could at least mark the entrance a bit better it was a mess. Secondly the person announcing the start was totally confused and not up for the job. He told us that the 107km must stay on top (were on top was I still don?t know) then he said only the 150km must be at the start. Then he started joking about the people in the groups and the next thing we hear is him saying that the only people left should be the 47km people. Never has he called for the 107km people, we just rushed thru the 47km people and as we got to the start he told us that if we are 107km riders we missed it. The first part of the route (to Delmas was really bad) no pot hole markings and the traffic was quite bad, trucks were flying past almost knocking me of my bike I went off the road but managed to stay on my bike no punctures. Water points were small and the people were very friendly but stopping for water is out of the question. Besides all of that was it is really tough race, the one light point is that I finished closer it the leaders time so I hope my seeding will improve.

Picture (1) My new Bicycle. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Picture (2) My brother?s new Bicycle (I had to add the couch to keep up with the standard) Picture (3) It look like a team. We hope to see all of u at the next race. I just can wait to see what difference road bikes can make.Gman18342007-03-16 02:55:32
  8. Hi there. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I hope this is the right forum. I just heard that I won an entry to the Argus, I would like to attend but the time is limited and the funds are limited, is there a group going down and looking for someone to join and share in costs. If you can help.
