Google isn't coming up with any hits as a known scammer, but the Modus Operandi feels similar (he is in America, but wants to buy this bike for his son etc)
Just ignore, scam.
Yo bud, we also have a Scott Spark 970 1x12, dropper and Xl for R20 000, well looked after no major scrapes and components all still good.
That Trek @RobertWhiteheadmentioned is also available with new magura brakes, 1x12 groupset, and optional Green Spank wheels.

Everything burned down in the jobless/low-income areas. And winter is around the corner it seems(given the weather changes) some people need blankets some need dagga to stay warm.
Both cost Mula.
They must aquire money to replace the things they aquired before the fire. (Generalizing)
They don't do it by working in anyone's garden because there are just that many gardens to work in.
Overpopulation, lack of job opportunities the way of life
Just unfortunate that every now and then someones kid goes for a afternoon ride and never comes home because of these factors.
Any solutions ?

Beste waarde vir geld kom in by after sale service.
Cheapest isn't always best.

I am looking for some advice.
The GX cassette on my MTB needs to be replaced. Apart from fitting another GX cassette, I am considering two other options.1. Using a SunRace CSMZ91X WT5 10-50T cassette. It uses XD hubs. It's almost half the cost of the GX. I am seeing mixed reviews on this cassette.
2. Replacing the XD hubs with Microspline and using an SLX or XT cassette. This works out simular in price to a GX cassette. In the long run it might be cheaper.
What do you suggest?
Just go with sram, had a few clients at the Epic with mixed up Shimano and sram parts, the pickups get worn off on odd shifts.
Would suggest just bite the bullet, you won't be disappointed !

I'd put some plugs in. Just to be sure 😉
Haha you also know that guy haha

This one is not too different, received the mail from a mail distribution platform with links to an email address he wanted me to respond to. I did not use the link but send a mail to the email address. He responded a week later and now says he is in US until June. Want's the bike for his son - similar to the oil rig guy who wanted for his nephew. So I just wanted to check if anyone else has dealt with him/her. No I wont release goods - it feels very much like a scam.
Thanks for your response
It's a scam.
Don't bother.
I also have a XL pyga 110 frame laying around if you'd be keen on a build up !

You will not believe what happened next! The owner had the audacity to bring that shiny carbon road bike in front of me and spent 30 minutes showing me all it's features! He was so rude he even let me test ride it outside. Worst is his son came out and brought a matching kids bike for my 4 year old.
Both of them even followed me to my car and then helped me load the bikes in my car. I am now in the doggie box with the wifey as I was caught trying to hide the bike in between the fleet of the other 5 bikes.
Please hubbers I highly recommend wearing your sun glasses in the local bike shop so that you do not get caught out like me.
And here I was, sitting and thinking someone missed Friday, meanwhile...
Excellent dude, would love to take you for a beer and sell you a Cannondale, they have some Good specials haha 😄
Please teach your kids to be like you in this regard dude, we need more people like you !

Can do R17 500 with a dropper post.
2 minutes ago, Bichael Dewing said:Year, model, components.? Hahaha give the oke some more info guys.?😳😉🤣
Deal would be tailored to his Budget so current components wouldn't be same as what it would be sold with but there are options on what to keep and what to change.
7 minutes ago, Brendan S said:I would be looking for something around R15000.
I also am not comfortable with buying a hardtail, because I previously got scammed by Solomons Cycles with a silverback stride sport. And maybe a scott 970 would be the type of bike parts wise
Can work out something with this bike if you keen bud.

In this way there would be a central database of serial Numbers (VIN). Forks Shocks and Cranks serial numbers Could be added to this Database. This would make it Easy to Identify and Trace Stolen Bikes making it less attractive for the current Cartels to steal them. And these Cartels do Exist. There is a Guy on Facebook that told me on the phone that he could get me any Fork I wanted, but it might take a couple of weeks.
I would not mind paying a Yearly License fee if it were to Reduce this Terrorist Act called Bike Jacking.
How would a 6 year old get a bike, like what would that process intale ?
