Hi Guys What do you think of electronic gears? Apparently both Campy and Shimano are testing their respective models. I can't see the logic in gears like these, as they obviously have to have batteries that need regular replacement. Are the mechanical systems out there not responsive enough?

We are always quick to have a go at motorists, unfortunately there are far too many so called cyclists making it difficult for those of us who believe that everyone has a right to use the roads safely. As previously mentioned we need to take responsibility as well and confront 'cyclists' that make it difficult for everyone else Well said. Cleanse the ranks from the inside!!

Thanks for all the replies. The problem we have with the current wheels are that we break spokes quite often and even without breaking spokes, the wheels go out of true relatively easily.

Can anybody give me some advice on tandem wheels? We ride a Ravo with the shimano wheels it came with. I'm thinking of upgrading, but R10 000 for Bontrager or Rolf tandem wheels is a bit steep for me.
