  1. Did my fitness assessment yesterday. What a load of bull. The following was tested: Height/Weight/Blood Pressure/Estimate body fat %Hand grip test, which I failed miserably for some reason. Did the optional push ups and had to do 49 in 60 seconds. Resting heart was taken, and did a step test onto a raised platform for 7,5 min. Heart rate was taken after the session, and again after 1 min of rest. R395 for this is a ripoff. Luckily managed to get level 5
  2. Yeah I really don't see the big issue with a 5am to 7am start. It's perfect for the heat that we are going to ride in. I've done 4 Trans Baviaans, and one "Langs Baviaans", and this will be my sixth ride. Really relishing the new weather challenges and riding the whole ride in daylight. Just be sure to do a couple of heat training rides end of December to end of January. Bring it on.
  3. Guys, just be careful. I almost bought a R2000 voucher yesterday for Chris Willemse Online, but luckily read the fine print that the voucher is only valid for IN STORE PURCHASES.
  4. Finally reached Private Club this year. Like Jackes said, with the new mandatory fitness assessment, they try and make it harder each year. Luckily my wife and I, are both in good shape so to get a level 5 fitness results, will be straight forward. But still does not make it right. Must say I still get good value for being on private club, with CWC and Cyclelab onboard

Any news on the 2021 Ironman African Champs and if there will be entries available?

    Calling on you gamers

That sucks. Got a super deal on a RM1000i the other day on Facebook Market Place. Only R1500 and working perfectly
  7. Got a bonus email from Multiply today. You now get 30% discount on New Balance shoes and products. My New Balance shoes just reached the 1000km mark and in the market for new ones.
  8. Really gutted for all the 2020 athletes that it has been postponed. My dream was to do the 2020 event, but realised that it would not be due to a running injury in December, and decided to do the 2021 event. The November date suits me great, but I see the entries are sold out. Anyone know if you will still eb able to enter as surely not everyone that was going to do the 2020 event is set for November?
  9. Kinda new to running, and have a question. How much km do you do on your shoes before replacing them? Mine are almost on 1000km and still very comfortable. Strava suggested that I get a new pair 400km back...
  10. Must say I'm really frustrated with this Multiply Money App and cashbacks rewards. We as a family stopped getting cashbacks at Pick & Pay and Clicks from the 20th of Feb. The app is not working and only shows transactions to the 6th of Feb. Now I must send them proof of receipts for all the transactions we did not received cashbacks from. Most of the slips is in the trash. For the life of me I can't understand how such a big company can't get their things in order
  11. Give the coffee to a homeless person, he will value it and then maybe you too. Don't make to much of it.
  12. Would not say it's dumb, but I also have 4 vouchers that I have not used and two of them expired. It's free, so use it or don't use it
  13. Received an email from Momentum stating that my discount for my Myriad insurance has been lowered from 60% to 40%, as my average for the past 6 months was below 16. Quickly checked my average, and it was 15,9!! Does that not get rounded of to 16?! Luckily I'm in very good shape and will most likely get a fitness level 5 if I do the test.
  14. Another heads up, I had to re register my Momentum card with the Pick & Pay card to get the 12% cash backs. It just stopped working since the 14th of January.
  15. They said they have upgraded their system, causing you to newly register all of your devices.
  16. Just a heads up, I see you have to re-link ALL of your devices for Active Dayz. Received a mail from Multiply, and when I checked, all of my devices was de-linked.
  17. The new tests differs from the test from 2018/19
  18. Did you manage to achieve the highest score with the push ups? Going next week and was wandering about this

Wow that's a super time! Just out of curiosity, what was your time before this book?
  20. For the first week mine was two. But going to gym does not count. So only if you reach 300 calories or 10 000 steps
  21. Another thing to mention is, although Momentum "forced" me into taking out extra products (to reach Private Club) and moving our will's to them, I'm very glad I did. My previous will was very basic, and if something did happen to me, my poor wife would have suffered to get everything sorted. Momentums will and details of it, really helps getting all your stuff together for if something happened. And the extra retirement fund I had to take out, just forces me to save more. So very clever from Momentum's side to change things as they did since last year
  22. Well it's better than nothing. For me, with Takealot not in the mix anymore, I still get a hell of a lot of savings with Multiply. 60% on my life insurance premiums (just this alone is worth the effort), and cash backs at Pick and Pay, Clicks and Dischem, we as a family save about R2k a month. Not to mention 50% of local flights, 40% of Garmin products, 40% of accommodation and car rentals and international flights and numerous other savings, I will not switch without something really big changing.

So opted for the Fenix 6 Pro. Is the Sapphire version worth the extra cash? How scratch resistant is it?
