At the Winter Challenge I had a sidewall cut [and then blow-out] on the 2nd lap and had to fit a tube. Easier said than done !! .. broke my tyre lever trying to get the tubeless tyre off. It took a lot of effort to get the tyre off/on. My fingers were in more pain than my legs . Any tips on making this easier ?

I normally check my tyres before a ride and pick out bits of glass etc with a small flat jewellers screwdriver. You'd be surprised at what you'll find embedded in your tyres just waiting to ruin your ride ... I'm using Conti Ultra Sport tyres and since they are made of fairly a soft rubber they seem to pick up quite a lot of "stuff". I'm thinking of changing over to another make/model tyre.
