Like I said long before this thread started to degrade in a typical mudslinging thread.

What I would like to know is what happened to the rest of the e-mail? Only a third of the mail was posted on this site.

I just spoke to Mr K Hauer and we had a very civilized chat. I can understand why they are starting to get a little fed-up with cyclists. Maybe just a attitude change from cyclists will make motorists regard them with the same respect they do other road users. Remember you get what you give.

I have 2x9 but need new blades. Anybody know where I can get 94bcd blades? Which crank you using ? I'm using a normal XT crank and fitted SLX chainrings (26/36). Manged to even get the bashguard on from the SLX crank with a bit of dremel work. Using a Cannondale Crank. Came of a Teambike. 94bcd is not that easy to find.

A friend of mine has one with the triple clamp fork and downhill crank and downhill wheels. Its a sweet ride!!!!

I would say depending on how strong a rider you are you can run 1x9 or even 2x9. I do not believe that the novice rider will enjoy the 1x9 or 2x9 setup until they are strong enough to ride those gears.

Aluminum cleaner. ie alu acid. It cleans the alu very well without any problems.
