Personally I prefer a non-bib chamois, that I wear under baggies. I've got bibs .. tried them .. Meh Never quite got the argument of bibs keeps the chamois in place. A properly fitting pair of lycra shorts, stays in place for 6 - 7 hours. I've never needed to get off my bike and pull my chamois up from my knees ..

To find one with a decent body is going to cost you. Then unless you have the skills to do the restoration yourself, its'going to cost big dollars. If you do possess the skills, you going to need time and space. There is a reason these things fetch North of 300K when fully restored.

Use it all the time. It doesn't do any damage to your chain if the conditions are dry. Just apply a little and wipe off excess with a cloth. Clean your drivetrain with parrafine regularly. Any lubricant will build up and trap dirt. It needs to be purged to get it all clean again and start the process over. Chain and cassette wear comes from never cleaning them, and just keep applying lube ride after ride after ride.

Have HD's changed recently ? I rode one on the front of my Tall Boy a couple of years ago, and loved it. Rode 7 colours of *** out of it, and wore it out eventually. But I genuinely enjoyed it. Maybe it works in 29're size ..

Us SRAM guys have suspected this for years ....

Ok fair enough. I reckon I been spicing my meat to early and drawing the moisture out. So with a decent cut of steak, gooi braai spice just before you chuck it onto hot coals.

Whats the consensus on spicing your meat ? Before - at least an hour or more. During - when you busy cremating said meat. Or only after when eating ?
