  1. Vid working fine here! Too much of cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. I've been putting on a pound or two... Hahaha! Getting through the gate at my place with bags of food takes some doing! Actually, Ruby visited The Victoria Secret last weekend, and got spoiled rotten by diners while I shopped!
  3. Lekker report! Everyone can identify with that "oh, crap, is that how far I've come?" feeling!
  4. No, that's The Secret Garden! Lovely little place. Had a fling with a manageress there some years back. Great for a brekkie, brunch or lunch. I recommend their fish cakes. And the eggs Benedict. Book if you plan on going on the second Sunday of the month for the antique faire. If you hear dogs barking, hide, it's probably me and my hounds! The Victorian Secret is in my 'burb - Western Extension. About a block from the main part of the Glynnwood on Woburn Avenue. Old red brick house - Tait* House - that almost got knocked down some years back. Also houses a charity shop for Kids Haven. And there's a vinyl shop upstairs now, I believe. Plan a ride past here on the last Sunday of the month...they often have line-dancing at the "Urban Market"! They close off the road outside TVS, Lemongrass and Tajine. *Have fond memories of that house. Tait was the surname of my biology teacher, Marion Tait. The girl who was later to become the mother of my boys used to get a lift to my sister school with Mrs Tait and had to wait for her in the parking lot after school was finished...and that's how I got to know her...my Sunday ramble... Here's The Victorian Secret's websitre: http://www.thevictoriansecret.co.za/
  5. Camera broken too?
  6. Ja, it is! That's a coffee-choccie meringue with almonds. Chantel...sigh ...makes makes them perfectly chewy and gooey...
  7. Went nowhere with intent today...and it's rides like that which always end up at The Victorian Secret...thought I would make it home on the bike without messing the cheesecake. Fail. So stopped in at Grapes and borrowed a spoon and tucked in lest it get more messed, before heading home again...
  8. This was sorta lunch, as I had been up since the wee hours... Fish cake stacks and egg fried in duck fat.
  9. Found this stein in a charity shop up the road this morning...
  10. Never seen those "fairing" pieces before...! Actually noticed a few new additions to the bricks and tiles Lego do in the Mixel sets.
  11. When I built this Mixel, I thought it looked like the product of a night of drunken sex between General Grievous and a Classic set... The funnest Mixel series yet, I thought! ...The Mixies even made their own mix tape!
  12. All finished before 9. I have just been downstairs to raid the vending machine as I am getting a bit peckish...
  13. Peanut butter-filled pretzels. ...and other stuff...store-bought bean salad and coleslaw; salami, onion marmalade and brie sandwich on soy and linseed, melon and grapes; and yoghurt. edit...and a banana.
  14. ...to fetch my laundry...
  15. Did they cook him with his spoon and bowl? What about the dude who drew the picture?
  16. Free-gliding more like!
  17. That's style of Lego - which became popular with Bionicles - angered many purists, but it sold bloody well! I have Grievous and Obi-Wan in a duel pose in my study!
  18. Saw you go past me at about 8ish around Le Grange area! Should've shouted hello!
  19. And I am just about there...46 in December...at least my bike is older than me!
  20. Scotty...were you out on your road bike on Sunday morn? On North Rand Road?
  21. Lekker pressie! Dig them Creator sets...but they're bloody dangerous! With some of them being relatively cheap, I am often tempted to buy more than I intended to! Instead of building then taking apart and building the alternate models, you get tempted to get three sets and build all three for keeps... ...I think I may have a problem...
  22. Okay, whoever sees those cars first, get three of them! I'm in.
  23. I think I would like to start off my Monday by smacking you upside the head! Been stuck at work...! Lekker pics!
  24. I picked up the first two seasons of Banshee for cheap. Watched the first this weekend. Lots of nookie, swearing and fighting. And a neutered albino. But kinda unremarkable as a show. Started season 2. Is it actually any good? Saw Arrow box sets too. Anyone watched it?
